Not really, Mikel has been one of our best players this season. We wouldn't be winning by such high scorelines if we didn't have him protecting our defence. I do think his lack of experience has taking toll against the big sides this year and without doubt we have missed Essien against the likes of Man you, Liverpool and in both Roma games.

I'm not talkig about what the media are saying, I'm talking about how I see Drogba performing on the pitch and it seems his heart isn't there. A lot of players complain but they don't run away from the ball to protest. It probably wasn't even a heandball, it was just a shit free-kick that Lamps should have taken. I dunno, maybe I'm exagerating too much, we'll see.

Will just rot in the reserves and get the odd appearance in the cup and during an injury crisis.
-
Good, the kid's a rare talent. If we don't keep him he'll just go to another CL rival.

I'm losing my admiration for him. For the past 5 years (think that's right?) my family have moaned and groaned constantly about him but I always stood up for him and for one season I had a blatant arguement for him when his power and form saw him become top scorer in the PL. Age is starting to take it's toll and he's constant whinning is REALLY pissing me off. Yesterday, at Roma, for example, he took a free-kick and it hit the wall the ball came out into Drogba's reach but instead of going and getting the ball he went off to moan at the linesman complaining for handball. I'm sorry, Didier, but that sort of mentality was in the old Chelsea. Chelsea has changed and we now expect a higher work rate and more desire to want every ball all the time. Maybe it's because he's still a tad tired after his injuries, but that's no excuse to just give-up. I won't be sadened to see him go in the summer or January, as long as we bring in some quality replacement.

I was at the Arsenal game 4 1/2 years ago. Never for the life of me would I have thought we would go 86 games unbeatern after that day. A proud feeling and a sensational statistic but it is the memories of some of those home games that make it truely special. Numbers 7, 24, 25, 42, 44, 77, 78 and 81 were very memorable.

Cheers mate, just trying to get more people singing at the games.
-
Wow, why would you want a different version? We struggle to get the real version going, even at Stamford Bridge when Kalou scores it hardly ever gets going by more than 10 people. The original is by far better too.
-
Not really, it's not like they lack money. That's pretty good, I haven't heard it myself but it could catch on. We have a lot of anti-scouse chants now.

West Ham and Everton fixtures changed

Another Sunday game for Chels. -
Free transfer, I think he left Hertha Berlin in the summer.

We'd have to January to sign Appiah, in which time we might not need him. I'm happy with this guy, experienced and probably knows Scolari so all is good. I think i can trust Big Phil now so...

Wilkins - We Are More Dangerous
Chelsea Lad replied to Aesthetic Relic's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
He hasn't been tested enough yet, we should play him for more than 30 seconds, should of bought him on early (70 min) against Stoke, Spuds and possibly Pompey. -
Yeah I know, I phrased it wrong lol.

Wilkins - We Are More Dangerous

We should be fucking genious' after all the disapointments we've had in the past 2 years, espicially in the CL. I'm not too worried about our depth, Kalou and Cole both have very short-term niggles and Deco and Carvalho are only out for a few more weeks. I'll be worried if another CM picks up an injury or if Anelka or Drogba pick up something. I'd like another forward in January, based on the current situation. -
John Terry - he's passion, pride and leadership overwhelms Carvalho. Plus I can't recall too many things Riccy can do and JT can't. He's goal-line clearence in Moscow against Giggs is just one example.
-
Like most others will say, West or East Upper. Though if that can't be done then keep them in The Shed. Dfinitly can't put them in the East Lower and I believe the camera's face the West Lower, right? So yeah, a small section in the west upper would be best.

Ok, first off, I don't know if any of you remember me but I signed up a few months ago but have recently gone away from the forum. But now I'm back, and back for good! The below site was made by me and will be regulaly updated with new chants. I hope mods don't see this as spam cause tbh I've only created that site because we need to get more people singing at the matches. http://chelseafcchants.blogspot.com/ I'm sure most of you will know them anyway, but if you don't learn them before you go to the matches and sing your heart out. Like I say more will be added in due course and I look forward to getting to know you lot again!

Seemed a great day out mate, can't wait for my first away trip!

Would loosing Lampard be a Blessing in Disguise?
Chelsea Lad replied to Chelsea Lad's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Meh, it's just another rumour. I still think he'll stay, after all has Big Phil had the chance to speak to speak to him yet? -
Ahh that's a shame no full 90 mins, like others have said maybe they'll release a new DVD with it on like they have done for big cup finals in recent years. I buy the DVD's cause I look back at them in years to come. I'm sure in 2 or 3 years I'd love to watch Chelsea's first CL final in 90 mins (or rather 120+ mins!) The game had such an amazing feel to it up until the JT pen... Like I say, hopefully they'll release a CL special DVD or something, but I can't see it happening.
-
They advertised the Man you DVD in the Chelsea DVD? That's fucking weird if you ask me, who's gonna buy both reviews? Btw, I'll get it for my birthday in August, I have them all since 04/05. Wouldn't mind watching the 'Pool game again - is it the full 90 mins of the game or just highlights?

Ok rofl - apologizes my end too then! Lrt's just get this straight - I don't want Lampard to go, like you say he is a legend and should stay with us til retirement. This thread is basically suggesting what could be done if he does leave. -

Fuck off, I'm just saying it might not be all bad cause it'll allow us to play a new formation. Obviously I don't want him to go though! Thick cunt read my OP properly! -
Yeah, I see what you mean. If we can get 2 really pacey players like you mention then great, I could see it working in 4-3-3. Sorta going back to the Robben-Duff days which worked well. It does kinda depend on the formation, you have convinced me that with a 4-3-3 we need that pace but in a 4-4-2 a Bentley type player would be more useful. I'm still not a fan of Robinho though! Maybe Ronaldinho and Quaresma could be bought in and SWP and Malouda could go, that is if we play 4-3-3.
