I'd agree, unless Ballack is fit to start in which case Lampard would probably be rested. Hopefully Deco will score tonight, he needs to start finding that goal scoring touch he had at the start of the season (though I realise he contributes far more in other ways, his passing is emaculate).

I really haven't seen enough of Mancienne but is he really worth more, potentially, that Alex and Ivanovic? He's 21 now, needs to be starting to make an impact in the PL tbh. Maybe we should loan him to a small PL club soon.

I haven't seen enough of Mancienne tbh, unless he can already play at RB i doubt it would be a good idea to retrain him to play there. Does he have any attacking qualities? I agree, he's constantly linked with the likes of AC Milan, I hope he doesn't go cause in the few games he's played for us he has looked top draw. Riccy Carvalho will be off in a few years (maybe even less) and that's when Ivanovic can step up to the plate for us. At the moment, we could lose him for as little as £7m.

They've got the whole Shed? Upper and Lower? That's fucking disgraceful, why don't they give them the fucking west stand or east if they want to give more seats.

Like others have said we can't really afford to let anyone go, but if I HAD to make a decision it would be Ferriera (considering both Alex and Ivanovic can cover RB) and probably, dare I say it - Drogba. Selling Drogba would mean signing Aguero though.

So our two new signings, Deco and Bosingwa, have both won a player on the moth award before we even hit Christmas. Not bad going considering our recent flops for signings!

A whole new debate is how dangerous is the 'trailing leg'? For me, if the defender gets the ball before the player it is fair no matter how dangerous the tackle (unless the defender is obviously trying to hurt the attacker).

Yeah I've been to the ground and I've sat in The Shed and MH. The entrance to The Shed is right next to the megastore, at least part of it is, there is that wall that has the plaque on it saying 'this used to be the back of The Shed terrace' or something. There isn't that much room between that wall and the actual stadium. MH has the Sports World thingy ma bob behind it and just west of that is the hotel. Unless I'm completely confusing myself.

It does seem that if we really can't expand then we will move. I just don't see the need to move, Stamford Bridge is still a classic old English stadium, there would be no memories or emotion inside a new stadium.

Isn't the hotel more positioned between the West and MH stand? I'm sure they wouldn't have built the hotel if it blocked any sort of future plans to expand a stand.

There would be so much controversy had that been called off, it was no where near as bad as some matches played in waterlogged pitch's ove rthe years. The ball wasn't even sticking a huge amount. But you're right, if it wasn't on TV there would certainly be a much bigger chance on it being called off. TV dictates almost everything in football these days.
