  1. They actually play like Fergie's united. The way they attack relentlessly and with surgical precision. if you bombard your opponent with waves of constant attack, the opposition defence usually crumble in the end. It also helps that they have top class players/match winners. Often times in the past when we are trailing or searching for a goal we look clueless and devoid of intensity and quality.
  2. Just waiting for someone to convince me we would have been trailing/done worse at HT had we started RCL,Ake and Boga in place of Mikel,Ramires nand schurrle
  3. It seems our highly experienced, established, non youth 11 are not doing too well against the mighty watford.
  4. No live stream wtf. This shouldn't be happening in this day and age. Every match involving any of the big teams should be available on Tv somewhere in Europe.
  5. More like he doesn't judge defenders that he considers untouchable on individual mistake. Ivanovic and Cahill playing virtually every game this season despite thier poor form defensively is testament to that. But I'm willing to bet if Zouma, Christensen or any squad players were to perform as poorly as those 2 have been in some games, that would'nt be the case. Jose isn't the worst manager when it comes to favouritism and bias but he does have his favourites that's for sure
  6. I believe he now posts under the alias bluedaze. he's up to his old tricks telling people how to feel, think and post and anyone who shares a difference of opinion or sentiment is a plastic cunt. same ole same ole. I can't say I have missed him at all.
  7. Absolutely right. Let's assess the first choice attacking options of Europe's elite. Bayern-Robben, Ribery,Muller and Lewadowski - all top class, top performing players even their squad players like Shaqiri and Gotze in particular are superior to some of our first choice attacking players. Real madrid: Ronaldo,Bale,Isco,Rodriguez and benzema: the same as Bayern, Barcelona: Messi, Neymar,Suarez and Iniesta (an out of form iniesta is still significantly better than Oscar and Willian). For example,Last year before we bought Fabregas and Matic, some posters were trying to argue that there was nothing wrong with Ramires and he was good enough to be our first choice CM. It's a simple concept, to be the best, you have to strive towards perfection in terms of manager and personnel recruitment. once you start settling and compromising, you either slip into abject mediocrity, remain stagnant or fall short of achieving your ultimate objective/aim. You will never hear Europe elite clubs make excuses and compromise for average and/or perenial underperforming players and that's why they are Europe's elite.
  8. Even neutral fans and rival fans including the "I hate Chelsea and will go out of my way to show it" fans can never look at Lampard the same way again. before he left Chelsea, he was seen as one of the most professional and most likeble out of all our players alongside Mata. You had often hear opposition fans saying "Majority of Chelsea players are cunt with the exception of Mata and Lampard, those two are the only ones I can tolerate". With his latest shenanigans, His image has been tainted not only from CFC fans perspective but the football world as a whole with the exception of City fans who are loving every minute of this ofcourse. Most of them are particularly disappointed with the shadiness and unethical nature of the loan deal just like us and Arsene Wenger of all people was right all along.
  9. How convenient of Henrique to finally join us. I'm guessing once Matic bounces back (which I predict almost immediately) we wouldn't see you till the next time he has another uncharacteristically bad game.
  10. BTW did anyone spot Michael Owen's comment on Hazard during the match commentary yesterday in his exact quote "He has the potential to be one of the best players in this league" that comment left me totally speechless. I was thinking so he's not already one of the best players in the league Michael. He's by far one of the worst commentators I have seen.
  11. I understand where you are coming from and we share the same sentiment. Willian is more technically gifted and keeps possession much better. In fact after hazard, no other player comes close to him as far as managing posession in tight spaces but at the same time, football is a result based business and a club of our size and ambition requires productive players in the final third in order to compete with the big boys. All of our AM bar hazard and fabregas are essentially offensive passengers.
  12. I have never seen such dramatic drop in form in recent times since Torres, he went from being one of the best defender in the league and Europe last season to one of the worst this season. The need for a new top class CB has become crucial than ever. Cahill, while I do rate him more than most on here, is simply not talented and good enough to be a starting CB for a big club with aspirations in the long run.
  13. Because people believe what they want to believe for sentimental reasons. Taking Lampard, a man who has been proven to be a liar and manipulator's words over the media, the club and jose's suits their agenda of supporting and defending "super frank lampard" no matter what. That's the only thing they have left to defend him now that the other excuses such as he signed for fitness reasons, He signed for NYFC and not City etc has become voided. Even the myth that his impact with City will be absolutely insignificant and will have no effect on our title chances has been busted.
  14. I didn't foresee cahill being this poor before the season began. He can't even get the basics right atm. Sadly like you said his position in the team remains unthreatened. Zouma should start the next match in his place.
  15. You might have a point but you could also argue that the squad players are not given enough games to get into rythm and gain form. It's unfair to expect players who only see game time sparringly to come in and perform whenever called upon.
  16. To be honest with you I dont see a reason to revert to such tactics. This game was a one off where everyone bar hazard and ramires played poorly. If we have one or more of this type of games then fair enough Up till now I had argue that our poor away form this season is down to goal scoring.
  17. There's always one. I'm surprised it took this long for a "super fan" to show up.
  18. Jose will definitely used this awful game as an excuse to revert to parking the bus in a bid to keep things tight at the back.
  19. Jose has run the players to the ground. Lack of rotation all season is starting to cost us, the players are tired and it shows.
  20. I'm not neccessarily advocating booing him but I will be bitterly disappointed if our fans give him a standing ovation when we face City at the bridge. standing ovation are reserved for honorable legends and former players.
  21. Even if we didn't offer him a contract extension, that's no justification for his actions.
