Looks like we can add Hati to the conversation of Best Caribbean Nations. Possibility that next round will have Hati vs Jamaica. That should be a tasty affair.
-
It would be awesome for Caribbean Footie if both Nations can win their groups - both will be against it, but I have seen many crazy results from this competition - probably the biggest is when Canada won the Copa de Oro back in 2000 - I still believe the tournament was fixed
-
Bro the Soca Warriors always play El Tri tough - it will be interesting to see El Tri go against a confident Trinidad side - btw is there a chance TnT play The Reggae Boyz? that would be an awesome clash right there

I have to agree w/ all three sentiments. First if we are to consider Higuain as World Class, then he should have done better. True tight angle, but couldn't he redirected the ball in front of the net for Messi? Seondly why was Higuain thrust into this situation? Wouldn't Tevez been a better option or maybe leaving Kun in the match? I believe Sampaoli out-coached "Tata" Martino. He had the tactics to stifle La Albiceleste attack. Ok the result became a 0-0 draw, but Sampaoli believed Bravo could bailout Chile in a shootout. His gamble paid off & now Chile are Campeones de América.
-
but the crap he is getting right now - you think he wanted to make those misses? I do agree w/ you & didierforever though, Higuain shouldn't have been on the pitch. Tevez should have been on the pitch. BTW, NASA has located the ball that Higuain has kicked out of the stadium last night

people are giving Higuain a bunch of grief on Twitter. Poor guy, gets no love
-
So do you get paid out if Chile wins on PKs? If so, you are a shrewd bettor - enjoy your gains!!!
-
Actually that is a smart bet, because you only win money betting on underdogs
-
Actually The Great DD scored 7 goals for CFC in all Comps, while El Tigre only scored 4 in all comps for manure - just saying
-
I like Paraguay, because we can see Larissa Riquelme rooting for her country
-
if they win this match, then they will have to play the hosts - the way I see the tournament being ran & then add the referee decisions going the way of Chile, it will be hard for Peru to defeat the hosts - if Peru wins this match vs Bolivia, their next opponents will be Chile - I can't see them defeating Chile. Chile will get a dodgy pk or red card in their favor vs Peru. I will agree w/ you, Peru has played nicely in this Copa America - they were very unlucky vs Brazil - that was due to the Brilliance of Neymar
-
I am reading reports that Gonzalo Jara will be banned for the rest of the 2015 Copa America for his anal probe of Edinson Cavani
-
watching the Chile v Uruguay match - I don't know who will win, but the loser will leaving the pitch fighting - excellent drama so far in a tense first half
-
damn, I know we all love to see Claude's rants but it appears he needs help - supposedly has made some suicial threats - I hope dude can hang in there
-
not so sure Copa América Centenario will happen after the FIFA investigations went down by the FBI - some of the criminal acts went down because of the Copa América Centenario negociations had bribes & kick backs for the event - if it does, I will attend a match in SF
-
Glad you did this mate - honestly I have missed the rants of Claude from le arse fan tv - can't wait for the season to begin & I can LOL at the gunners
-
not always mate - remember this?
-
I heard Tata Martino locked himself in his hotel room trying to come up w/ a plan to defeat Uruguay. If Argentina doesn't make it out of the Group stages, Tata won't be allowed to return to Argentina.

interview w/ RLC about his past couple of months as a footballer

Rondon from Venezuela? Yes, he scored the winning goal

Don't believe me ask Iseah or a futbol forum like on univision. You would be amazed. From how it was explained to me, It's about Nuevo Espana. Mexico is supposed to be considered Nuevo Espana, but the Argies are just haters. Then you add all of the times Argentina knocked out Mexico from the World Cup. I think it's like 5 times.
-
I am predicting it now, Mexico (AKA El Tri) will knock Argentina out of Copa America. If you peeps don't know there is a mad rivalry between the two countries. Argies usually say very foul things to the Mexies & Mexies like to provoke - good entertainment for a neutral to watch via sidelines

One more thing to point out. At Chelsea Schurrle was a squad player, but at Wolfsburg he would arrive as a Star. Also I believe he got some more skrilla as well. I read from the German media that now it would be harder for Schurrle because he would have greater expectations for Wolfsburg than when he was at CFC. Many people (including my Wife who is German), expect more now from Schurrle after his performances w/ Die Deutsche Mannshaft & with CFC. Again, he would been a better option at that match vs le arse when we deployed the False 9. Also his work rate was freakin' awesome & Zie German showed he could shoot w/ either his right or left foot. I wish him well & remember his part in the 6-0 demolishing of le arse. He was part of the reason why le arse got spanked in that Wonderful day in April @ the Bridge in 2014

Put in the full quote 'I always had my chance, scored important goals in the first season. At the end I just wanted the transfer although Jose Mourinho wanted me to stay. But I did not feel the complete backing.'

Baker played/captained England at the Toulon Tournament. He scored the 2nd goal for the Young Lions. On Sunday, England will play The US in the 3rd place match.
