Football is unpredictable but we can minimize the uncertainty to a degree if we stop playing those who are out of form or spend more time in training.

That is scary, we don't have the fighting spirit we had in the previous gen of players we had. This lot is... well... We don't have people like Frank, Terry, Cech, Drogba who committed themselves to the club. With crazy money being splashed around Europe it seems like loyalty is closely related to the money. That is also another reason why I see players not fully committing to every game(1 or 2 off games is acceptable but many isn't)

A questionable run of play from Chelsea players and a questionable player selection from Conte has seen us squander a 10 point lead at the top of the table down to 4 points. With our immediate rivals in their sizzling best what do we do steady our ship and control our lead to get our hands on the PL title? Admittedly Spurs have competitive fixtures ahead compared to that of ours but inconsistencies in the past few games can make even the staunchest of Chelsea fan cynical at this point. I think the fear stems from the fact that our only striker is in piss poor form( we(chelsea/conte) don't seem to be considering Bats as an option ). And Conte can't seem to drop him. Costa is bordering Torres level, Spurs recently shut us out. Unless Conte comes up with a totally different strategy the fear isn't unusual. Yes the result against United has exaggerated the fear because we couldn't get a single shot on target

He could have played Ake in one of those cases though.

The real kick on the nut was we couldn't get a shot on goal. #Abysmal WTF are the players getting paid exorbitantly for? Mourinho knew pretty too well Hazard was the only caring the team given Costa is still searching for his ****s and he shut him out well. I can't believe Conte didn't come up with a counter strategy for that. I mean from an outsider point I could have ordered a bunch of newbies on the field to suffocate Hazard. WTF was Cahill doing for the second goal.

What will(should) Conte do to ensure that title doesn't slip out of Chelsea's hands? He needs to train his players better for team B/team C scenarios. Make better use of the substitutes in his arsenal (Azpi over Ake for (LWB)? ) Stop playing Costa (until his head is in it, he is an embarrassment on the pitch )

I appreciate Conte for one thing he has taken the blame upon himself. Unlike a certain someone *cough mourinho* who would have said that his players failed him. In all fairness it was his fault, he changed way too much without properly thinking about it. He needs to practice these kinds of things with the players before he makes those kind of changes in a game( I am assuming he himself didn't anticipate these changes).

Going to be another boring defeat to Spurs. Better to keep expectation real. Hazard is the real threat in our team, spurs would know too well how to shut him down. Costa will start and continue his abysmal form and who knows might top it with a red card. Spurs have defeated us twice, I doubt it won't be difficult for them to do it again. Their players are in a hot red flame sizzling form. Yes, I have become sour after our defeat to United( they ****-ing spoiled my Sunday) Unless Conte rests Costa and starts Bats I wouldn't have any hope for this match or Costa should suddenly get an epiphany and score a hat trick(well I will continue that dream later today) I don't know what to make of Conte at the moment ( he should have started with Ake in this match but chose to otherwise)

Or Conte should start using Bats I am sure he won't be as bad as Costa. If anything he would be itching to take on the starting 11 and would want to prove himself (but also needs time and our backing)

If he decided on the switch in last minute then it is his fault but if he actually trained the players with the switched position then bad luck. I really hope Conte has a plan to hold on to the 4 point lead but honestly doesn't look like he has judging by how we are constantly dropping points. I hope he is training players to play in his plan b,c scenarios if not then it would be stupid of him to change the game plan in the last moment and expect the players to spring out a victory

My sunday ruined.

The worst part is he is doing what Mourinho did with Ivanovic, still playing Costa. Costa needs to be out for a match or two till he can sort his shit and get back to his original self.

That is why I hoped half time conte would have sorted things. Can't believe our title hopes is going down this way.

Wasn't Conte supposed to give the players a plan of action? Why do we still look clueless and... Somebody needs to hold the calm and get our players thinking right. This is where an on pitch an actual leader is required and not someone for the sake of armband.

We could but I don't know if Hazard is up for that or if he can bring the striker threat to his game. it is stuff like that is very pissing off! Why break his loan spell he was doing well in Bournemouth had he stayed maybe would have developed even further but no we had to cut his loan and make his talent go waste.

We should have let him go and should have trained Bats harder sure by now he would have been a starting 11 material. Our club is very short sighted.

Come on Chelsea, Conte turn this around. KTBFFH. one early goal at the start of second half and we will be back in it. The early goal is key.

It would truly make for an awesome Sunday if we beat United at old trafford.

I am scared as I have always been this season when we have played big teams. Costa is not in form. Hopefully Hazard is fired up and maintains his form. Come on Conte please don't mess it up. Hopefully Pochetino doesn't give Mourinho his tactics on how he overcame us
