a world class player. enough said. he could be a xabi alonso type of signing like bayern made this season. just love him. moreover he might be 31 but still has a couple of world class performance filled years left. just watch him at the WC. only problem is injuries.

cos last season when they bought james for 80mil euros, they sold maria for 70mil euros, morata for 20mil euros, alonso for 10mil euros and all in all broke even. similarly last to last summer they sold higuain, callejon, albiol etc to break even.

Lavezzi is a good option, probably the best available to us right now after reus. And his price tag is in single digit which is pretty good deal. In my opinion, he is a better option than either of willian and schurrle. He is a work horse so fits rigjt in with jose's philosophy and definitelt more direct and a better dribbler than willian.

whats the problem with a short term/stop gap signing. we have hazard-oscar-willian-cesc as the long term (atleast foreseeable future) players. if we indeed get an offer for schurrle (30mil euros) then an 8mil deal for lavezzi who is not only better than schurrle but even better than our current first team starter in willian, then i seriously dont see a problem. (all this is only after we have gone all in for reus and cant get him).

schurrle and salah - atleast 25mil pounds. thorgan - 8mil pounds cech - 10mil bertrand - 8mil pounds (already a clause) kakuta, marin, mikel and mvg + any academy products like josh,piazon who clearly dont have any future with us. - atleast 15mil pounds (very conservative) all in all we can easily raise funds in the range of 65-70mil pounds and reinvest it in getting pogba (50mil pounds) and varane (20 mil pounds). a squad of GK - courtois. 2nd GK, blackman Def - JT, varane/inigo martinez/otamendi, GC, iva, azpi, luis, ake, christensen CM/DM - matic, pogba, rambo, romeu, RLC/baker AM-cesc, hazard, oscar, willian, moses, boga/traore strikers - costa, remy, bamford.

pogba. costa hazard-cesc-willian/oscar matic-pogba the mid of matic-cesc has come into question a couple of times this season already. also, we have some quality in depth in the AM position but absolutely no depth for DMs/CMs.

dont think costa deserved it. suarez was the best striker last year and his absence is a little shocking but its hard to argue with that front 3. but no godin and luis (who was without a doubt the best left back of last season) is shocking no modric is another joke.

la liga winners, CL finalists (beating the likes of chelsea and barca), super copa winners (beating RM over 2 legs) and not a single player in the TOTY and simeone does not get the coach of the year award.. its all about popularity and big NAMES. what a joke!!!
