I'm afraid lampard came too soon. He did nice things with Derby, but that's all. The wrong man at the wrong time... he is still "young" for that class of a job... just look at his results against "the big" teams: - Lost against Liverpool 2-0 - Lost against Everton 1-0 - Lost against Wolves 2-1 - Drew against Tottenham 0-0 - Drew against Man Utd 0-0 - Lost against Arsenal 3-1 he can't compete.

I disagree here. We scored 69 goals last season in the PL, the third highest team. We conceded 54 goals last season in the PL, 11th place joint with brighton. I'm still thinking we must to improve our defence before we going to splash the cash on our attack. instead of Havertz, we could bought 2 World class players for defence.

Chelsea Spend almost 200 mil for attacking players, what about the defence? Chelsea bought a pensioner as their starting CB, an injured LB and in fashionably late a GK that no one knows... Imo, better we bought a world class GK and a world class CB, instead of Kai.

It's a shame we didn't go for a World Class defender... Silva is good as a plaster, and that's it.
