That's just one example. There are many others reporting the same story. I don't know where it originated from, some people are 100% sure that the deal is done however (unlikely in my eyes), but there must be a catalyst driving these rumours.

Good question, I imagine it would be dependant upon who leaves this summer. I'm sure it would be massively beneficial to him to work with Drogba for a year (providing he stays), although he'd be behind Torres, Drogba, Sturridge (assuming Anelka leaves us). Sturridge could potentially occupy the right wing in a 4-3-3, which means Lukaku would be 3rd choice striker, and therefore would expect a handful of opportunities to ease him into the league. He's 18 today btw.

With Bosingwa injured for the last two games, i'm beginning to think he may have played his last ever Chelsea game...

The whole deal seems to be hinging on Neymar agreeing to join us. I believe Chelsea and Santos have been in discussions, but the decision ultimately lies with Neymar himself. Let's just hope he makes the right decision .

That's what's been going around for the past few days. Nothing official yet though, we will have to wait for the transfer window to open until he can be registered and we can announce the signing (if the reports are even true , remember last summer?)

Exactly. The 'you have to be a big, physically strong player to play in England' debate is pointless. It is not the case.

I'm sure the club would rather Pastore to Kaka, but Palermo have put a ridiculous price tag on him, and as far as his last interview goes, he is staying at Palermo but 'dreams of playing for Real or Barca'.

He is a very talented young player, but the problem lies in the fact that if he wanted to stay with us, he would have to be content with being on the bench (if that) week-in, week-out. He has been playing regularly for Burnley this season, the fans love him and he has settled in. Is he going to get regular football at Chelsea? Unlikely. As much as i'd like for him to stay at the club, it seems that it would be better for his career if he were to move permanently.

As far as i'm aware Inter and City are at the front of the queue for Sanchez, and the Mata stories have been widely discredited. I think Sturridge and Neymar would be more likely, not out and out wingers but still fantastic forwards in their own right, meaning they will probably need a creator in the middle of the park. I know the club is looking for an eventual replacement for Lampard (personally I like Christian Eriksen, he is going to be a great player), and I believe they would have looked at Kaka, but I still see Lampard being untouchable in that position next season. His injury hit him hard this season, but with a summer off I think we will be seeing the Lampard of old next season.

Exactly. I'm expecting Villas-Boas to stay with Porto for at least another season. Well that's your opinion, and as much as I respect that, until he has managed a major club in Europe and experienced CL games, he would not even be on Roman's radar.

...Bielsa?...Who? ANY manager that would join us will at least have to have experience in both CL and european leagues. This also rules out Villas-Boas i'd imagine (for the time being anyway).

If you think about it in the context of our team (4-3-3), Mata & Neymar would both play left wing. It's the only position Neymar could play unless we adopt a new formation. It'll be one or the other i'd say. Not both.

Kaka's mother is going to be in London for a few days in August apparently, not moving here permanently. Can't see him joining us to be honest. I'd imagine he'd go back to Italy (Milan probably) if he were to leave Real.

I'm aware that many do not trust the board. That's why I said 'some credit'. All I meant was that not everything spent by the club contributes to the FairPlay rules, and that the board understands this and are aware of what they can/cannot do with the money they have.
