It's no secret that Chelsea's interest in KDB predates the arrival of AVB. The club were interested in Willian before AVB arrived, as well. As far as Bosingwa stands, we'd extend his contract to prevent him leaving for free, i'd imagine. Just the media being fantastical as per.
Decent finish as well. He seems to play much better with the national team, probably because he has the fans on his side. On a side note; I'd take Kalou over Gervinho every day of the week, he's been terrible. Edit: He's just come off injured. Pulled up clutching his hamstring I think.
No, it wouldn't. If Willian comes to us for half a season, becomes a fan favourite and scores goals, he's going to want to stay at Chelsea, he will refuse to go back to Shaktar and that puts Chelsea at an advantage. On the other hand, Willian could be terrible for us, and we won't want him to join permanently at the end of the loan. Therefore, Shaktar would have lost arguably one of their best players for half a season for no reason whatsoever. It doesn't make any sense from their point of view. Of course it would help Chelsea, but realistically, its never going to happen.
And why would Shaktar agree to this? Barcelona and Madrid have always had a bigger global appeal than us. It's no surprise that kids growing up in foreign countries dream of playing for them. Some of you need a little more objectivity.
Shaktar say negotiations are 'ongoing'. "You probably know from the Internet that Hazard’s transfer value is 30-35 million. Chelsea offered 20 million for Willian. I do not think that Willian is weaker than Hazard, and in some components he is even stronger!"
Read a lot of talk of us doing a 'Courtois' with KDB though, probably to a bigger club (with respect to Genk). Nothing wrong with having him ready to come in and join the club when the second part of the squad rebuild is complete (it cant be done in one summer).
Because, if you follow the right people and know where to look*, Twitter is probably the most powerful media outlet there is. *Unfortunately, most people don't.
I don't care about the loan back this season, his development is whats important. Until the team start to adapt to AVB's philosophy and the work ethic increases, us signing one player and putting him in the side isn't going to rescue our season. De Bruyne looks a fantastic prospect, his passing range/ability is ridiculously good and already an improvement over most in the squad. I'm more excited about this deal going through than Willian, although I'm hearing murmurs of a bit of a gap between our valuation of KDB and that of Genk (seems to be a common theme with our transfers lately).
Funnily enough the commentators were talking about Zaha and if he (among other young players) should make the move to the big clubs sooner rather than later. Frankly he'd set his career back another 5 years if he moved to us. Looks like a very talented lad though.
Lucas and Eriksen are CAM by nature, not wingers. Ocampos is playing football in Argentina's second division, Willian/Hazard are playing CL football. Shaqiri is about to join Galatasaray, and Iker Muniain, whilst talented, is a 19year old winger who wants to stay in spain to join Barcelona. None of those you mentioned are realistic.
