Rarely will any of them get near the first-team, but developing them as part of the academy and/or out on loan and selling them on for proifit has proven to be a shrewd strategy. lol

I don't think we have the technical quality to compete with top sides. We always lose the midfield battle against the good teams. This team is still short of 2-3 players and maybe a manager before it gets to competing against the best. I don't think Bakayoko was the right choice for us. Too similar to Kante and keeps giving the ball away in midfield. City pressed us high up and we struggled to complete two passes.

He doesn't offer enough going forward. He would always cut inside and pass the ball back whenever he got it. Completely pointless out there today.

Losing Hazard would be such a terrible blow. I don't really trust the board/Emenalo to replace him with a quality forward. Since he's arrived we've never even made a quality forward purchase anyways. They were all averagae players though who fans had been wanting gone for many years before they were finally offloaded. Neither of the three would have helped us against United.
