Guillem Balague was on Talksport spouting shit again, saying that Chelsea told Jose he had to sell a player if he wanted to bring someone in at the beginning of the season (excluding Willian because apparently Jose knew nothing about that… he didn't even mention Schurrle or Van Ginkel ), Balague went on to say that out of all the attackers Jose wanted Mata to be sold, so from day one he made sure Mata will leave by dropping him and making him feel unwanted. Jason Cundy stepped in and said that was a load of BS, he said the reason why Chelsea are selling Mata is because he struggles to play in Jose' system, Balague replied by saying Mata played that way his whole career, especially when he was at Valencia Fair play to Jason Cundy, at least we have a Chelsea supporter on the Radio. Balague making shit up to suit his agenda. Funny enough he supports Liverpool and loves Rafa Benitez... go figure.

It'll be interesting to see whether Jose splashes the cash now or in the summer, i personally think we'll bring in a squad player like Salah and in the summer we'll go for the likes of Rooney, Shaw and Barkley (although i don't know where he'll fit in). I like the fact we're getting linked with some quality English players, i was getting worried seeing as Terry, Cole and Lampard aren't getting any younger.

Maybe Pep wants to get one over Jose, show him how to play Mata? a man can wish...

May be defensive liability but he'll add so much quality, United don't really press, when they lose the ball men go behind the ball.

If you ask me Mata right now is miles ahead of Oscar. But the system Mourinho wants to implement, Oscar fits that role better, also don't forget Oscar is still very young, while Mata's in his prime.

Saw this on theshedend, I've seen many fans and pundits saying Jose wants us to play the same way we did in his first reign, it kind of irks me because imo we're clearly playing a different way, next season we'll improve, our pressing will be better, we'll attack with more purpose and the goals will come. We're not going to play 'tiki taka' football, but that doesn't mean it's going to be boring...

Selling to United feels so wrong...

Selling Mata to United is ridiculous, what other big clubs in the PL would do that? Maybe if Rooney was involved but i still cant get my head around it.

He obviously doesn't suit our pressing system, but make no mistake he is one of the best n.10s in the word, no doubt. If we sell to United this will come back to haunt us. Our club has to learn to be more stubborn, we cannot sell to another PL club. United are down, why are we going to help them? also throw in the whole rooney saga in the summer, fuck them.

He's also said Oscar isn't a flair player and Jose only relies on athleticism... ha! It does work to be honest, he annoys people that much they have to ring up.
