How many would Torres have if he could, you know, score the sitters?

No goals or assists in his four games. So it's 6 goals/assists in his last 5 games. I'll be happy to see Torres average over a goal/assist per game for the season. Not spectacular but very efficient.

Shame about Malouda not being less selfish and making better decisions--he's a very good player. Good game for everyone all around. Too bad Torres didn't get the hattrick. Happy but it's Genk after all...DeBruyne looked a player apart from his teammates. Having some good thoughts of him crossing in for Torres...

Torres is starting. Come on, this one is a given. It's not just the suspension either. Drogba can't start 3 games in the space of 7/8 days. I would go with a full strength team, including Mata. It's vital to guarantee six points against Genk and wrap up the group. That way, we won't have to worry about BL and Valencia for the last 2 games. That'll be around the time of Liverpool/Manchester City/Tottenham. So let's wrap it against Genk so Team B can be used in late November and early December for the remaining CL games.

Ah, David Villa joined Barcelona in 2010. He'd been in his prime for a very long time before that. Silva was already the complete article while at Valencia.
