  1. Should of scored that header really, he was free in the box. Unlucky to hit the post though - thought he played well overall. Mangala and Kompany were both fucking beasts yesterday; they are going to form some partnership.
  2. That's fair enough; for me as long as we don't lose away and win at home (against top four anyways), all is well in the world.
  3. The pressure is building. He knows he going out of the group stages of the CL again, which is not acceptable at City.
  4. Yes, because Mourinho obviously instructed the team to give them the ball and let them attack us... Well you're going to be disappointed with every away game we play against our rivals for the foreseeable future.
  5. Last season's results in big-games says we really shouldn't change. We had a unbelievable record against our rivals last season, why change?
  6. The "excuse" is that we didn't want to concede, if we had pressed ahead and tried for a second - there was an even greater risk of conceding. Yes, Mourinho's plan of defending rather than attacking didn't work today, but on another day it would of done. It's all about risk management; Mourinho is normally the master of this. We're never going to go gung-ho away from home against rival teams, the sooner you get over this, the better you'll feel .
  7. Mourinho always sets up his teams not to lose away from home against the top four. Drawing away from home and winning at home against your rivals is usually enough (if you beat the lower teams), it's what Mourinho has always done and it generally works. It was a good result; I don't understand why people think we're all of a sudden significantly better than City - we're not.
  8. Out of position for the goal again, what a surprise.
  9. We went there for a point and got one. Good result I think. We didn't play very well though.
  10. It's his positioning when defending which is the problem; his tendency to come inside like a centre back has caused so many goals down our right hand side. Azpi has the same problem playing as a right sided left back; they're both effectively playing out of position.
  11. 4-1-4-1 Someone isn't ever going to become a football manager IRL
  12. Our back four always play too narrow. Even against Leicester both full backs were constantly way to close to the centre backs and when teams counter it leaves us super exposed. Ivanovic's positioning for Everton's second goal was a joke. This is a consequence of playing a centre back at right back and a right back at left back...
  13. Why are people arguing about such a stupid thing? Can we all get back to wanking over how good Fabregas is please?
  14. Very much doubt he's going to go to city. It makes zero sense.
  15. Someone start a kickstarter "Torres' wages for AC Milan" please.
  16. Never ever seen this guy play, is he better than Torres?
  17. Thought he played well in the second half; he's much less of a number 10 in our new system. He's all over the pitch, covering gaps and making sure there is always a pass available. People are being overly harsh as he isn't being as productive in the final third as the start of last season, but that's natural when your role in the team has changed. Tell you one thing, neither Mata or KdB would be able to do what Oscar does for us. That's why he's so important to Mourinho.
  18. Di Maria is a great player - but he's not a £50 million pound player. He's also not exactly what United need. More panic buying from United. You think he'll player in centre midfield along side Herrera?
  19. No one will take Torres, ever. Even when we release him for free no one will take him, he's that bad.
