I was watching the game in the first half and my daughter came in the room. She asked if I had the tv on slo-mo. I said no. She said "then why are they playing so slow?" No words for that.

Not Torres best game, not his worst. I think he kept trying to make something out of nothing because he couldn't get involved in the game. Some teammates clearly can't or won't see him on the pitch.

What act of God is it going to take to bench Lampard? I'm not a Lampard hater but he's been bad. I have a hard time believing Josh or Yossi couldn't do a better job.

My sincere hope is that AVB is screaming at them in Portuguese, Spanish, English, French, whatever because that was just not good enough. It was slow, apathetic (apart from a very few) and just bad. The only positive is they can't play any worse. Can they?

Before I read any of the posts my quick thoughts: That was not good in so many ways. Kalou must be freakin' amazing in training is all I have to say. At least AVB took him off before half. Anelka is slowing things down too much. Team passing is too slow and too awful.

I'm going to go watch FoxSoccer pre-match show (ignoring Liverpool/Arsenal match) and then Chelsea. They better show Mata in the crowd or else I'm spamming the hell out of Brad.
