He's not the reason everytime we lose no doubt, but a massive contributing factor to us is not having a number 9 that scores, yet carrying on playing torres, but not sturridge or Moses, what is the reason behind this? There is no reason that makes any sense. My point is why would we appoint Benitez as an interim manager for 6 months? It makes no sense to get rid of RDM to get an interim manager for 6 months to get rid of him too. RDM only just got the job! Why should Torres now get more playing time (which he will) which he doesn't deserve under Benitez over Sturridge and Moses? My opinion is I think he does possess an influencing factor, no doubt. Thats why I want the guy gone and I think it's embassing how much support people give him over our other options when he's the worst player on the pitch most of the time. Luiz and Cahill maybe at fault for the goals we concede and make mistakes, but having a striker thats afraid to shoot, can't finish, doesn't have a first touch and no pace and think that doesn't contribute to us winning is another massive factor too. The fact is the team know this and that in turn surely then puts pressure on the midfiled to supply goals which he clearly cannot. Pretty simple solution, drop him. Give Sturridge games games and games and watch him outscore Torres. why won't this happen though? Does RA tell the manager to play Torres every game no matter what? This is a disgrace for a man that has won the CL and FA cup in a short time with a pretty shit one man team (Drogs) BUT I will say, i've personally always felt he wasn't the right man to take us forward. Yeah feel sorry for Sturridge as he was never given a chance here...If we gave him half the games in CF position and supported him like everyone else did Torres, no doubt he would have scored more than Torres has in his whole Chelsea career. It's disappointing cause I would have rated Sturridge and Wellbeck very similarly, if anything Sturridge was more of a goalscorer after his Bolton spell and his career was on a massive high. He has never been given a chance here in his preferred role. Except one or two games, where he must feel like he needs to be greedy and steal the show because he doesn't know when he'll get picked again. Younger/More Hungry and better than Torres easily IMO. If he starts tonight i'd love him to bang a trick and prove a point but playing so little means you have to give him time, something everyone gave Torres but not willing to give Sturridge. Thing is he won't get given nor have time, he'll be gone. Only issue I see here though is Torres HAS to go in Jan. Sturridge probably wants to go in Jan. Where the hell are we gonna pull two strikers from and not pay 10x over the odds for? Risky as hell if you ask me. It's ANOTHER shocking display expected at this point from Torres. The team played OK. went through patches of brilliance, to the very poor, but the issue does lie with the number 9 imho. The players surrounding Torres surely know he doesn't shoot nor does he score, so the reliance on them is upped and they have more pressure to make chances and yet finish them because Torres can't finish his dinner. Sturridge and Moses get 10 minutes and people wanna even comment on them ridiculous. Sturridge starts are more than over due, the guy should have 56 games and see his return. As mentioned RDM being reactive, i don't know if he's getting found out, but what he is seeing in our number 9 is well beyond me. You can't give a player like sturridge or Moses 10 minutes, they aren't Dzeko. They aren't Hernandez. These boys are world class and different kind of players. BUT they get alot more game time, Hernadez came on early doors. Dzeko is an actual super sub. RDM needs to look at the situation up top and make a firm decision about it cause Torres doesn't work t all. I don't really know what else to say, disappointed.

Don't agree here at all. I want Sturridge to stay, young, quick, PROVEN goalscorer. Exactly what we are looking for. Torres is shit, can't finish for shit, scared to shoot, ok link up play at best.
