It's hard to keep full track on what games what at such high speed but i think a lot of those misses in the first video came in games where we had a good team performances (Madrid sides at home, Madrid away, Palace away) and we've already seen what happens when we panic and just look at the top line to replace that. Which brings me back to my point that he has often facilitated good team performances even when he hasn't played that well. The second video is just a waste of time, there's not a single player on the planet you couldn't do a video like that for if you looked hard enough for footage. And that's before I mention half of it came during the period he was shortly back from a bad bout of Covid.

Last season we had 5 tournaments to juggle, an unprecented ownership crisis and an injury crisis that in itself would have crippled most teams. Still made top 4 despite that while the two teams chasing us (if you can call it that) had relative good luck with injury and only to the league to focus on in the business end. Unless he does a Conte and jacks it in we'll always get top 4 at a minimum under TT, last season was the perfect storm to knock him and us out of it and they still couldn't manage it.

I've got an injury at the minute so didn't stay up for it. All I saw so far is K2's highlights.

Off the top of my head Deco, Rooney and Gerrard (twice) rejected us under Jose the first time.
-
Oh come on. I thought the stick the former got at times was ott but that's very generous rewriting of history.
-
Maybe it's a hybrid but it feels like the Jose 4231 with Alonso bombing forward (Ivanovic style) and James being more conservative (Azpi style). It got me thinking a bit because Ziyech was playing like a pure number 10 for the first half an hour.
-
Is it me or is this is a 4231?

for anyone having a hard time with the app/website.

It is in the UK. I'm not 100% sure if the same applies worldwide.

5th stand app.

It's not unusual for employees to want to keep their options open, especially when we've gone cold on him once already.

Nothing alike. Raphina was waiting on Barca and would only come here if literally nothing can be done. The Kounde situation is nothing close to that infact if anything it seems like he slightly favours coming here. Also on a semi related note I hope the fact a player is open to coming here despite clearly being a back up plan (after MDL fell through) means many supporters will stop being so precious with not wanting players who don't see us as first choice.
-
It would just be such perfect karma if they have to do a quick fire sale of anyone half decent and Lukaku ends up fighting relegation.
-
Honestly I'm kind of glad. Alonso purely because it's appearing to be him or Emerson for #2 role and for all his flaws I'd rather Marcos any day of the week. Ziyech because I think he offers something we don't have and if we're going to start seeing a more conventional back four (especially if a 4231) that will play to his strengths a lot more.

While (you would hope) we wouldn't find someone who struggles with the basics as badly as you know who I still feel the clunkiness and general feeling of them not quite fitting will be evident which is why I was wary of getting even Haaland. Tammy struggled badly with Tuchel's tactics and Oli didn't fare that much better either. I wouldn't be getting in a reasonably priced option to mix things up when required but I fear another season of frustration if we sign a marquee number 9 even if they score goals never mind if they don't.
-
In Broja's case I imagine he doesn't feel out and out 9s suit his system. Hard to argue on last seasons evidence.
-
Isn't that the whole point? Lockdown and restrictions weren't done to elimate the virus, it was done to stop mass death from it.
-
Even factoring out Colwill it's such overkill and totally contradicts the alleged news TT want the option to revert to back 4.
-
I'd let Barkley see out his contract aslong as he has zero expectations game time wise. He always seems to have one mini spell a season where he actually plays really well, with Mount and potentially Gallagher with a long mid season world cup ahead of them he could yet come in handy one last time.
-
All of a sudden not panic buying Richarlison, Jesus and Lenglet for the sake of getting them in for pre season isn't looking so silly.
-
I could maybe have accepted that if he a) wasn't replaced by Pulisic and b) the same logic applied to the other attackers.
-
I mean I'll grant he's yet to hit the level of his promise as a kid but finishing aside he was fine when he played and the metrics showed that. He was unfairly dropped after one so so game vs United days after tearing Juve a new one. Pulsic has been the one who's truly been poor for two years yet he's given leeway after leeway because of a purple patch in what was a semi pre season.
-
At the risk of repeating myself that isn't true atall. He was the best attacker during our best part of the season then after that made crucial impacts against Villa, Spurs and Palmerias before being crocked for the season. He was also 3rd ITL on big chances created and key passes per 90.
-
Wouldn't have been much better for him staying at Inter, Inzaghi likes playing possession football and we've already seen how much use he is with that. Just got to hope he stat pads enough for some suker to invest in his "guarenteed goals".

December: Lukaku issues come and get me back plea to Everton after Edin Dzeko starts ahead of him for the 6th game in a row.
