  1. He is rotating in midfield, giving Matic his confidence back, Ramires can't be moved. Zouma coming in for Baba to give more stability, they probably have strong players in the air, José always pays attention to this stuff. The only thing I don't agree with is putting Cesc instead of Oscar, but he has the benefit of the doubt, if we win, José did well again, if we lose, bad choices, simple as that. COME ON CHELSEA !!! ( we don't hear that anymore here with all the moaning and plastic fans )
  2. People don't understand Jose's logic for fuck sake. I will mention one exeample, when we won at City in 2013/2014 with an absolute masterpiece by José. Matic-Luiz-Ramires, very solid midfield. Willian and Hazard behind Eto'o. Ivanovic on his prime, brilliant Cahill-Terry partnership etc. We had the best defense in the league at the time. I remember one particular interview, when Eden was speaking about that game, he said José told him for that game especially : "Go and play, don't worry about defending, just play and do what you do best". Why did José say that to him ? Because we had a solid defense and midfield, and because we were the in-form team of the moment ( that game was the part of a serie of wins that put us top of the table ). Why did José tell Eden to defend in the start of his second reign ? Because we didn't have that balance yet ? Why is he making adjustments and thus dropping Hazard and/or asking him to defend more ? Because we lost that balance once again, because we really are on a bad moment, and because we are putting in Baba who is no Azpilicueta defensively. Dave covers pretty much all the left flank by himself when he plays, he is the one piece in the team that lets Hazard free from defensive duties without compromising the balance of the team. I saw Hazard defend really good in the start of José second reign, when Azpi came in and showed he was a beast, I saw Eden defending less, the optimum is last year, Hazard defending more or less but having enough freedom to do what he did, you know, POTY stuff all season long. I have no problem with Mourinho trying bold choices to momentarily fix our team balance and grind us results, even if it's by dropping Hazard, so be it, he won, you can barely criticize him on this one, when he drops Hazard and loses, come running at him ( and I will be too ).
  3. Hazard is not bad defendively. But he is not good enough for a side where Baba would play too. And that's why Filipe didn't play much last year ( yes, brilliant offensively and defensively atm with Atletico, but he was really struggling physically against PL wingers with us... )
  4. People are twisting the facts. Baba is poor defensively at the moment, everyone even on TC ( which is surprising lolz ) noticed that, it would have always been hard to put him in a side where he would have to defend more than behind a Pedro or a Willian, because yes, those two are still miles ahead of Hazard in terms of covering their left back, and Baba really still needs to improve defensively. I don't understand people, everyone is calling for Baba, Iva is injured, Mourinho puts him, people start moaning because he is protecting him by a more versatile winger, do you guys even realize he is resting Hazard for the same matter ? Do you realize that Hazard and Oscar burned out in our last two seasons, I'm glad José is learning to rotate and try different options, have different people included. Hazard is going back to his place next game, and don't be surprised if Jose starts a Zouma/Azpi pair ahead of a Baba/Azpi one as Cahill would be fit, and that would make perfect sense. I have criticized tons of his choices this season, but you are guys over reacting here, chillax, he isn't going to sell/bench the guy he's been prainsing since he came back here, Mou appreciates Hazard, and we all sense reciprocity in that, remember when he benched him for a home Premier League game and everyone went mad ? When he criticized him against Atletico ? Didn't Eden get better and collect every single individual award last year in the EPL ? Yeah so get your heads around the fact that José knows what he's doing. As for his situation, I was willing to give him a last chance, he won against Villa, the result was good, factually he did some good decisions, including Baba, Pedro/Willian, RLC and Matic, some bad ones, like Fabregas, but get over it, we won, I'm happy, end of story, onto the next one, I'll slam him again when we lose. MOAN DOWN, RAM PA PA PAM.
  5. I can't believe people are moaning again ( moaning less, but moaning still... ). We were never going to come out and tear them to pieces, every team playing us in the next games will be playing for the W, even Dynamo on Tuesday, because we were poor. I was pleased with what Jose had to say after the game : Control the midfield first, give stability to the team, we'll come back to the Chelsea of last year later. I can only agree with him, Eden isn't going to be on the bench every game, Oscar and Matic either, but if we can keep our players fresh(er) for the second part of the season, it would be awesome for a change. I just feel that what this crisis might mainly teach Mourinho is fucking rotate your players and create the sense of urgency in all the players, not only by talking to them, but actually playing them and giving them confidence. I will just leave one fact here, if we do enough to beat West Ham next week, we will be 3 points off top 4, now that would've have escalated quickly wouldn't it ? There is also a Manchester Derby btw, so we might even recovera point or two off the top. I didn't like Baba defensively, as I suspected from his two first games, but then again, how can he learn if he doesn't play ? Brilliant decision from José to put Pedro/Willian on that wing, I knew straight away from the starting XI that that was the reason he dropped Hazard, and they both did good when defending in the side of Baba. Now win the next two, and we wouldn't be in a position as bad as people make it sound ( we are now in fact ). UP THE CHELS !
  6. Because in the last two games he didn't actually convince me defensively, I don't just "guess" he's not that good defensively. And if there's one thing we need at the moment, it's sure values on which we can count.
  7. Absolutely agree on everything, but I am just not convinced by Baba defensively.
  8. I wasn't talking about loyalty, I just say that you can't assume a guy who just won the league and who is widely recognized as one of the best coahes in the world is past it after 4 or 5 months, decline is normally a progressive process, not as dramatic as what we've seen. So my point is, for all the titles and success Mourinho has helped us achieve, the board is willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and a second chance, because he hasn't been granted one as of yet, so they will, and let's see what he does.
  9. Except that Azpi is incredibly good as a LB for a RB, and that Zouma is incredibly good for any of the 4 positions for a CB. It's mostly about finding the best balance, we don't know Baba in training recently, I know he didn't play with Ghana for Visa reasons, means he probably stayed and trained with the group and José for 2 weeks, so let's see.
  10. Absolutely, man of the match.
  11. Goal by Willian 30 secondes into the game, he might be our most in-form player atm
  12. Mourinho has got at least 2 additional months as a manger, even if he doesn't win all games or lose 3-4. And that's better, I'm glad our board nowadays don't have such short memory, aren't as ungrateful as you, and actually grant people who gave so much to the club in the past and proved they still can do it just recently a chance to right their wrongs by themselves.
  13. Just wanted to post this here, it might be fake and not the best quality, but in countries like Morocco you can get these 3 babies for over 19£. I love mu country
  14. Sorry for that, I clearly over reacted. But to explain my opinion further, the issues we have since the starr of the season are pretty clear and I thing that we all did point that enough directly after the game against Soton, including slamming the manager, the players, the board and so on. Why I don't understand is people on here saying they are fed up with what the players are saying without response, how can you expect to see if there is actually a response without any game and a two weeks International teams break. The people who say that the playrers/board are supporting Mourinho yet we are all here slamming him do have a point, it is relevant at this exact point in time, since we needed to have the opinions of the board and the players directly after the Soton debacle, and we needed answers for the question the journalists were asking him: " Did you lose the confidence of your players ". So I am absolutely glad to hear them all supporting him and standing by him, but most importantly by players like Costa and Hazard aknowledging that they are responsible just as much for this awful start, I like players standing up for their responsabilities and facing it, it seems like we have guys who are ready to do that, I do not know if they will respond good enough and start a streak of 4-5 wins that would get us back at least on the race for a top 4 spot, but I think we are all yet to see, I just see no point in saying that you are fed up with this talk from the players and want them to spend those 15 extra minutes in training working hard, they are with their national teams, they aren't training with us, and I am sure that Jose and those who stayed are doing a lot of additional work on the training ground. This international break has arrived in the best possible moment, I actually expect us to get back on track directly after that, but we are yet to see. Anyway, sorry again for the bold pat, I don't usually talk like that and I think people kow that.
  15. FOR FUCK SAKE THEY ARE WITH THEIR NATIONAL TEAMS AND THE MEDIA FROM THEIR COUNTRIES ARE ASKING THEM ABOUT THE SITUATION WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT THEM TO SAY
  16. And you have been moaning for a week where they had absolutely no chance of proving if they will walk the walk or not. Less moaning, more waiting.
  17. How about you actually give them a chance to show that on the pitch ? There is absolutely nothing to be said in these two weeks, most of the talking points have been made in the 2-3 days after the game against Southampton, I don't say we should all shut up, but you can't keep blaming the players for something they just said and didn't have the chance to prove yet.
  18. We can't do that as we would lose one of Oscar and Willian, and both are really important in this crucial times, the first has been the rare spark and the only player who we can't criticize much since the start of the season, and Willian still gives so much energy to the team. The solution is clear and simple, drop Fabregas, I don't care about his creativity, Ruben, Oscar, Willian and Hazard can provide that in abundance, our problems rely in conceding and struggling in possession, thus not creating chances, it's not like we have a lot of the ball, control the match but can't create chances ( which was the case in 2013-2014, and that why we brought Cesc which proved to be successful at that time ). We need a solid midfield now. Begovic Zouma-Cahill-Terry-Azpilicueta Matic(Mikel) RLC(Ramires)-Oscar(Cesc) Willian-Costa-Hazard This is our best formation atm. By the way, it was an absolutely stupid mistake to send Van Ginkel on loan, he is solid and a great tackler, he would have been starting games now, and we knew we were light in midfield
  19. Oh my god, fuck me, can you stop moaning and wait till next game, the atmosphere around here is unbearable at the moment.
  20. Remember when Azpi initially broke into the starting eleven ? A. Cole had picked up an injury for 2 or 3 weeks, couldn't get back regularly in the team after that. Also, in the weeks preceding that, Ashley had become a liability, not as much as Iva today maybe but we did notice that.. It is actually scary, Ash had picked up that injury around 6th October 2013...
  21. And I don't find that surprising for Bran, he is physically weak at the moment ( the reason opponents litterally walk past him ), and has been holding his hamsting a few times on the last 2 or 3 games ( mostly against Porto ), makes total sense. His body can't do it anymore...
  22. Both Ivanovic and Matic actually.
  23. What A Stupid Logic. Nothing personal, but this sounds like something a Basketball fan starting to follow Football this year would say, you should know better as a regular Football fan..
  24. During the two seasons after 2007 he played 73/76 League games, he was injured in 2010-2011, thus playing only 24 games, then went on to play 85/114 league games in his last three seasons with us, when he was aged 33 to 36. Now I may agree with the fact that Jose burns some of his players by demanding way too much from them over a short period, but you are using the wrong example.
