Ramires and Mata for me. Danny has been class but other than City he has been disappointing against other big teams. Can't say the same for the other two. Especially Ramires.

Unless you were living under a rock, you should already have known that the price tag was all for potential. If an 18 y/o was good enough to be a starting striker for a team like Chelsea, he would have cost a lot more than 18M. It's always a risk paying that much for potential but hes so very young and the potential he has is scary. He seems to have a good attitude and work ethic so we really shouldn't worry. He will turn into a class player in time.

Don't mind the draw. Getting knocked out of the group stages is embarrassing, after that it's all the same. Don't mind facing hard opposition early because we would face some regardless and if we're not up to it, then why postpone it? Either get knocked out and focus on other silverware or win it all. That said, we have a good chance of beating them, they are a good team but not on our level as long as everyone shows up.

I don't even look ahead in the CL now. Whatever happens, happens, just give it your best shot. If suspect referees or a bad draw hurts you, so be it, that's how the CL is now. You never know. I'm not getting my hopes up, but that doesn't mean it can't happen.

You guys dont understand. Sturridge is just playing with everyone. First he would never go to his right and go exclusively to the right. He was very stubborn too. But now when everyone is expecting him to go to left, he's going to his right every time. Now when everyone expects him to be greedy and take a shot going left or right, he'll start passing exclusively lol. Then defenders wouldn't know what the fuck to do. Anyways, in all seriousness, his growth has been staggering till date and with a bit more experience he'll have a complete game.

Not only are the players pacy, our play is helping that too. A lot of one touch passing and trust being shown in one another. There were passes made yesterday which I would have guaranteed no one would have even attempted last year, cause they were being so cautious.

I've watched Ganso a bit. Very inconsistent imo. He'll have a shit game but then make one beautiful pass that leads to a goal. So many times I've watched him and I'm thinking this guy should get subbed off right away, but then he gets an assist. Still, one good pass doesn't excuse a bad game and that's what he does most of the time.

Sturridge should get a chance, think he can get the ball from the mid and run at the spain back line, probably the only one who can. Walcott can as well but he runs around like a headless chicken, more than for an actual purpose.
