Louis CK is probably my favourite if I had to pick just one. I enjoy several others as well. Jimmy Carr, Dave Chapelle, Anthony Jeselnik, Jim Gafigan, Mike Birbiglia, Chris Rock, Norm MacDonald, Mitch Hedberg, Daniel Tosh.
Frank really is an amazing role model. Just when he looked like he was done, he puts in extra work and adapts his game so quickly to AVB's style of play and has been our best mid for the past 2-3 games. Falling love with him all over again.
I agree. Cole was good against Genk but he hasn't been that impressive for me. I really think if Bertrand gets a good consistent run he can easily be good enough to split LB appearances with Cole.
Cech saved us. I voted for Romeu though, I hope he stays, looks amazing. He won the ball countless times. Bertrand was also great at LB. McEachran was ok, not too bad, but nothing special. Lukaku showed good flashes too. Overall, great performance from all the youngsters.
I heard the game on the radio as well and then watched the replay. A world of a difference. Not only Turnbull they were way too critical of Anelka as well. In retrospect, the commentary was awful once you actually watch the game.
I prefer Bertrand to Aanholt, mainly cause he's a much better defender. If you're a left back you're first job is to defend, and we shouldn't be employing both full backs that have a mistake in em. That said, I do want us to keep Aanholt. Bos-Cole works cause Cole is a beast defensively, just like Bos-Bertrand would work. If Ivan plays right back then Aanholt would be better choice at LB, since he can be the one attacking.
Cech Bos-Ivan-Terry-Cole Meireles Ramires-Lampard Sturridge-Torres-Mata Only worry is Ivan, since he might not be so fresh. But if needed I'm sure Luiz can play 2nd half, especially if we need a goal. I'm glad we advanced in the Carling Cup without playing our first team.
How about we stop finding faults in our players, let's give Everton credit. Cahill won a good header and ball came towards Saha. I don't see how you guys can easily place blame on any of the 3 involved. It was unlucky if anything.
Watching this half, it's all but settled. Romeu > Mikel. Bertrand has been good, Lukaku always looking a threat. McEachran has been meh. Anelka very poor though.
The only one I'm worried about is Ivanovic. Since I assume he's going to be chosen for Arsenal since Luiz played against QPR. Other than that, no one else in the first team will be exhausted.
