  1. Of course. It would appear that the admin have been absent for a while though, no telling when this might get fixed.
  2. Funny how you deduced that meaning without any prompt. Perhaps it is true, and this post isn't sarcasm.
  3. I'm really not very fussed. Some beer money would be most welcome.
  4. Why read the thread if you are tired of it? It's like something I saw on local news today. Residents were complaining that a post-box was overflowing with letters and some were falling out onto the pavement. The royal mail's response? Stop using that letterbox then!
  5. When did I ever say that? Of course we aren't. I just think you were far too smug about being right about that, when it's obvious to pretty much everyone anyway. You got your victory from a Chelsea defeat. Are you a fan?
  6. For me, this game was Grant's chance to show whether he really was as good as we needed or not. He failed. We'll not win the league this season, but I reserve judgement about cups until Wednesday evening.
  7. There is a decent chance he would end up there, but I sense he would prefer to manage in Spain or Italy.
  8. Merry christmas, have a nice time off
  9. Kaka is the man in the hole. Did we have that yesterday? No, of course not. He was up on his own for us, for Milan he had support. I have absolutely no interest in entering that imaginary world of yours that orbits you.
  10. Alex is decent enough, but we now need Carvalho back and fast, Tal just ain't good enough.
  11. We didn't deserve anything, because poor finishing and poor tactics let us down. Way to ignore the problems, Avram. Of course you will, they were your mistakes.
  12. I said this as well, look at my squad prediction... that's the team I thought best to play. Grant being here makes that game more difficult than with Jose, because now there's no guarantee that he'll play the most sensible team.
  13. He should put himself down, because he knows he made a costly error, and he'll work hard to improve. No-one else around him needs to criticise him, because he can do that himself.
  14. I love my music, although I really should pay more attention to the indie scene. Yet to really pay The Enemy much attention for instance. The Killers I never have, although I never checked out Sam's Town because my house mate said he didn't think much of it. But yeah, I love my music! Hot Fuzz is excellent. I'm a massive fan of Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and the producer Edgar Wright. Shaun of the Dead and the comedy series Spaced are both excellent too, which all feature those three. Great blend of subtle and in your face comedy. As for best concert, well that would have to be Muse (supported by The Streets, Dirty Pretty Things and Rodrigo y Gabriela) at Wembley in June. Dirty Pretty Things were awful, The Streets average, but Muse absolutely made up for it with an amazing performance. Also really enjoyed QOTSA in November at Rock City, Nottingham. Intimate gig, loved it.
  15. Shevchenko did as well as you would expect a striker who can't play as a lone striker being played as a lone striker would do. He needs another man besides him, you can't judge his performance today as par his ability.
  16. That's because Joe Cole is not really a winger, and we usually use him on the left and he's right footed. Wright-Phillips cuts inside because he knows his crossing is substandard. Can't comment on Malouda and Kalou is more of a forward than a winger. Edit: As for Yakubu, he's a good player, but I'm not convinced he's the kind of quality we need. I wouldn't be distraught if we signed him, but you kind of expect better.
  17. Very strange comment... That was never Mourinho's mistake. Gallas wanted to leave, what's the point in letting him stay? He was bound to score against us one day, at least it was today in a mid-season league game rather than in May in some cup final. You're a mug. You've only said this to say "Look at me I was right", more concerned about that than Chelsea's result it would seem. We lost today because Grant got his tactics wrong, pure and simple. As soon as I saw Sheva was up on his own I knew we were fucked. SHEVA IS NOT A LONE STRIKER. We should have played Pizarro up with him, to hell with Maka or Mikel. SWP should have buried that chance. The latter of Arsenal's two disallowed goals should have been allowed, but we would have never been attacking with such force had SWP scored earlier so that chance would have never arisen. In the end, we actually came very close to getting something out of this game, but we only found those chances when we got Pizarro on. Shoulda played like that at the start. Ratings: Cech: 5 Ferreira: 6 A. Cole: 7 Terry: 6 Alex: 6 Makelele: 5 Mikel: 6 Lampard: 6 Wright-Phillips: 5 J. Cole: 6 Shevchenko: 6 Subs Ben Haim: 4 Pizarro: 6 Kalou: 6
  18. Oh come on, given the choice between an Englishman and an American it's pretty damn clear who we'd support. Besides, the guy's City, not United, which is fine.
