I tried to upload the highlights to redtube, but they don't accept football videos. That's more appropriate. What a game though, couldn't of asked for more, and a clean sheet?, what the hell is going on?.

8-0 GET THE FUCK IN THERE.

Super Frank!.

Ah Joe Bennet, seen him a few times in the town, hope he plays shit though.

Brilliant!.

Get in!, i just knew that was going in.

World Class header.

Villa playing 5 at the back....

Well to look at the positives at least we are testing it out, instead of sticking with the same players playing badly.

I'll admit I'm not liking this double pivot which consists of Lampard and Luiz.

I hate playing after United.

Stop the comparrison with Drogba, I'm not comparing I'm using an example. No one is like Drogba, but Drogba fits a certain catagory as a team playing forward, just like Schurle for Laverkusen or whatever his name is, and Cavani is a team playing forward. And what do you mean tick most boxes?, it doesn't matter who is better, what matters is who fits into the team. Grant Holt would've scored more goals than Torres last season if he was in our team, doesn't mean he's better than Torres, however if he did better then by all means it's a better choice to of had Grant Holt. That's just an example don't be getting that caught up into a comparison. Cavani will help the team, Falcao will turn into another Torres if he doesn't do well here, because that's all goal poachers can do. We aren't such a creative team like you think we are, we need more people to track back and stay level headed, instead of people who are going to be setting up camp upfront all day. I'm going to quote myself from the other thread to you "We can't just have Falcao and think everythings going to be all right cause it wont, our team needs a leader and a fighter up there right now, like Suarez is with Liverpool, the main man. At the moment we are lacking that main man in attack, Cavani is the right person and he could handle playing with quality with the likes of Lavezzi who he linked up with very well." You haven't answered that yet, you keep bringing up about well one year ago i would've agreed.

4-2-3-1 is our system With the Mazacar likely to be our new way of playing football wheather we like it or not, work rate is going to have to be placed somewhere, we are going to have a lot of defensive issues. We also need a more physical and animal upfront just like Drogba was, Cavani is exactly that, he's passionate. Thing is bring up Falcao again, may be going slighly off topic here but I'll get back onto the point, if Falcao flops here or finds it hard, he will do what Torres did. He will go into his shell because he can't do anything else, I KNOW for a fact Cavani would chase that fucking ball down, and he would be coming back to win it regardless of what happens, he wont give up. That's his mentallity, we can't just have a team full of goal poachers can we?, look at United with there four strikers, Welbeck and Rooney are full of work rate, Van Persie is very good at holding the ball up and an extremely good finisher. Hernandez is the complete goal poacher and the right place right time person. We can't just have Falcao and think everythings going to be all right cause it wont, our team needs a leader and a fighter up there right now, like Suarez is with Liverpool, the main man. At the moment we are lacking that main man in attack, Cavani is the right person and he could handle playing with quality with the likes of Lavezzi who he linked up with very well.

Cavani is a team player who works hard, Falcao has many asects of his game which is incredibly average, such as his passing, his link up play isn't special. Our work rate in the team overall isn't really that good enough either, so what's Falcao going to do?, you think he is really going to solve all of our problems?. I know for a fact people are looking at this so one dimensional and thinking that the chances Torres missed Falcao would've scored them. Coming to the premier league is going to be extremely different for him, he's been in Portugal and Spain for most parts of his life, where it is a similar degree of football. And we will soon find out that our team aint exaclty all that creative afterall. I think this team will take time in all honesty. And we should be looking to build our spine first, but a new striker should definitely be on the cards, and i don't think a poacher is the answer.

Cavani would be better for us.

It's not that much of an issue, his first touch isn't actually that bad, yes he looked awful pre season but I've watched at least 4 full west brom games including the one today (well yesterday) and his first touch wasn't really a problem. He never really had to make any good touches like i stated however, but it's not all that bad. Lukaku is a passionate and consistent goal scorer, he will make it into the team believe me. Players like Demba Ba don't have a great first touch, however he's a lethal finisher and grabs at least 15 goals a season. Lukaku just isn't special with his touch that's all it is. But i think him being physical and being in the right place right time might be all what we need. Maybe he wont be our number one striker but i know for a fact he could be one useful one for us, i think he's worth it. I'm not to keen on getting Falcao though if I'm honest, he isn't a great team player and doesn't provide great work rate and seems to be a very average passer of the ball. Although he can be very expensive we should really go for Cavani as he can fit the role like Drogba did (obviously he's not the same as Drogba), however he can be that team player.
-
If he never scored that hattrick against us, i seriously doubt this thread would of been so popular.
-
We can't bring him back, it's not fair on him. Plus he wont be ready for our team just yet, next season he might be able to fit in who knows. Though that's what Lukaku is, he's a goal scorer, in the Belgian League he wasn't an all round player he was a goal scoring striker, and he was very good at what he did.
-
His first touch is always going to be his weak point, that's just life, at his age he will struggle to turn that around. West Brom played to his strengths, Lukaku did what he's good at, being a poacher. They where trying to support him, so Lukaku was just staying up the pitch, though when he did get the ball he looked very good. He's actually quite a skillfull player, and his passing is pretty decent. He will be good for us in the future, every club needs it's goal scoring forward.

Looks like we are definitely getting a striker now, especially with Sturridge on the way. Cavani seems like the best striker for us who is a realistic target. Things what i like about Cavani is, is his work rate which is fantastic for a player of his standard, normally players with his talents are all stuck up there arse they wont bother. He also works very well with the team, Napoli has a quick attacking system, and Cavani links up perfectly, remember the damage he and Lavezzi did against us working together?. He's no average man on the ball, look at his goals against Inter Milan, when he took on about 6 players then rounded the keeper and just tapped it in. We obviously know he's a lethal finisher, he is definitely much better than Torres, Cavani likes to score goals. But the best thing about Cavani is, is that he's not scared to go in for a header and will jump into anything, that's how he scores a lot of goals. Like against City he scored two very difficult goals in the same match, and that's because he isn't scared to go jumping in, and he gets results. I think Cavani is getting overlooked here, had he scored the hattrick instead of Falcao it would be the other way around. We should definitely try and get cavani at least anyway, it would be a shame to not at least try as he's our best option out there.
-
He's one of the rare hyped and big signings we've made who hasn't turned out shit. Thank you Juan Mata!, for at least being different and making us happy for a change.
-
Well I'm a shit fan as you said before, so i cannot answer that question.
-
Yeah and you think that's going to stay when Ferguson leaves?, do me a favour the best Man United will get when Ferguson leaves is David Moyes. Mourinho wont go there, that's is just a pure myth. Only big threat are City, and they will get stronger everytime they win the premier league, so in order to postpone it it's better if United win the title.

I believe we've been through this before, and even then you didn't make much sense.
