To be honest i think we will do well this next match, if we don't, then thats very worrying, the fact we still havent sorted outselves out and we have United next game.

Well on the team sheet he will be on the left wing, but as in free role, he will be roaming about all over the place, just like David Silva does, David Silva gets put on the wings and right mid and centre mid, but he doesn't stick there, he's all over the place, it would be interesting to test it out with Mata, he could be great linking up with Torres, and Danny offers pace, could be interesting, especially if Ramires and Meireles are behind him, two good athletes.

I think he will be given that to be honest, he's got some good passing, David Silva is good at working his magic everywere in the oppositions half at City, not saying Mata is the same but he's more than just a winger in my opinion.

The second one looks like a very speedy game, and should work to be honest, it looks much better than Ramires with Lampard, only thing is we havent seen Meireles play yet so i can't judge how he will be at Chelsea. Though the 2nd one looks interesting, Mata will be the main man on it surely, i think he will be pulling the strings if that was our line up.

Make sure not to over hype players and overrate players, especially english ones, because they always let down.

Last season was up for grabs, and we took a huge risk not buying replacements and better players, because injuries caught up with us, and everything just happened at once, yes it was very unlucky, but we should of been prepared. A very big shame, i only just hope we can learn from that season, and truthfully i think we have, we seemed to have got some replacements, i think we need about 2 more players and that's it. Our last three games have been no different from the average last season game, painful, stressfull, i think i've mentioned it too many times on this forum haha, i understand you with the tempo, but last season Carlo couldn't motivate the team or anything, he had 0 control over his players. That's why we conceded early when in the lead, but then came back a lot in games when we were behind, which is not a good thing because we shouldn't be down in the first place. Concentration is important, play a simple passing game then in there quater of the pitch step the game up, i don't think it can be that perfect unfortunately.

If so i think that's rather stupid, if we need to find out what's best for us this season, then we need to test now. I hope we try playing a 3 man offensive midfield, such as Ramires, Meireles & McEachran/Lampard, just to try out, scrap out the DM for a match see how it goes.

I want improvement, i want better football than last season, we can't win the trophy because i don't think were good enough to win it. Faith is one thing but you have to be realistic, i don't think you can blame this forum for it's negativity when you take a look at our squad, Mata is the only special buy we actually made, when we should of made more. And yes it's too early for AVB who knows what might happen, i just want improvement, better football and more commitment, these last two games have just been the exact same as last season, we were hoping for change, and with only little bought and the bad games we only expected to happen, you cannot blame people for losing hope in this season, because it's been entirely what we've expected, Stoke game was a good game to be fair, we were pretty solid and deserved a result and i can let that one slip, but the West Brom game and Norwich was shocking, despite us winning both of them. But lets see where the next few games take us, however another good thread by you Tomo, i enjoy reading your threads because they host a very good debate and calm many down.

De Gea, i don't know why people are dissing this young lad i really don't, he's just started as a keeper, and just you wait, you'll all be hating him soon for saving Uniteds arse all the time. Jones, very good player, you wouldn't think he was 19, he plays like he's had 20 years of experience in the premier league, he can only get better, which then means he will definitely be a solid centre back and future starting centre back at United. I think they've signed some good players there, And to be fair you can compare them with our signings, and it wouldn't matter anyway, because at the moment you need to look at who has the better squad at the moment... and of course it's United. Because we needed a complete overhaul and the right players, and we seem to havent of done that, so it's going to need a something very special to get our team competing for the title.

Indeed he has scored some goals, but this is what i don't get, Yes Kalou has scored important goals, but so has Malouda, if not more to be honest, Malouda has scored many winners for us, he's already done it this season to, and at least Malouda has something else, and doesn't lose the ball 24/7, we usually get angry with Malouda because he can't cross for shit. But Kalou... he just can't do anything. Maybe Kalou just didn't have potential, he's been given way too many chances to prove it, it's quite amazing really, because we seem to do the oppesite from some kids who have real big potential such as Josh McEachran and Daniel Sturridge.

Pretty much, usually pre season i always give Kaloua break, then coming to the season i start hating him again. Either way it's on the line as very bad!, if it went any lower it would still be BAD!, to be honest i was only greeting you, i'll try not to be so nice next time.

They could do with a striker definitely, they have one of the best defences in the world in my opinion, much better defence than some of the biggest teams, such as England, and a good midfield.
