We have people calling Hazard a snake because he's injured / out of form. A player, who in his 3+ years at the club has never created a problem and is of good character. This is the kind of environment Mourinho created. I am over the moon that this cancer is out of the club.
-
I'm wishing misery on Man Utd. I know special agent Jose can do the job.
-
Can't even spell Hazard's name correctly. Opinion null and void.
-
I can only hope that Mourinho ends up at Man Utd and he does exactly what he did here this season: lead them to one point above the relegation zone; embarrasses both himself and the club on a weekly basis; produces utterly joyless football and causes such a volatile environment that his players stop playing for him. Ahh, I can only dream.
-
What has Hazard done exactly? Please show me PROOF.
-
To be fair, it's going to take a few weeks for RLC to unlearn of the stuff Mourinho taught him. I wouldn't trust him until then.
-
Get Fabregas outta here man.
-
Word's greatest doesn't lead his club to one point above the relegation table.
-
World's greatest? Haha. No comment.
-
That was a great move. The players are playing free and they look loose. I guess it helps when there isn't somebody screaming at them from the touchline micromanaging their every move.
-
Not surprised whatsoever by this performance and scoreline so far. The dark cloud has been lifted.
-
Should have done this 2 months ago - ahh well, better late than never I suppose.
-
Emenalo a legend.
-
No surprise to see the fired one turning supporters against even genuinely good guys like Hazard.
-
2004-2007 Mourinho is a legend. The Mourinho who got fired today is another person.
-
@ossie the king isn't new, he's the only place to be I can tell
-
I loved the old Mourinho. 2004-2007 version is the one I hold dear and think of. The broken, volatile and cynical version that came in 2013 wasn't an embodiment of Chelsea for me. I supported the club long before Mourinho and will continue to do so. The connection and admiration I have for guys like Zola, Di Matteo, Drogba, Cech etc is a 9198465920x more powerful than anything I ever felt for Mourinho.

Tomo, I respect the hell out of you. We've had plenty of disagreements in the past and they are always civil. You're one of the few members I genuinely nejoy having debates with. The emotional connection to Jose was way OTT. And he played on that. That dynamic between club and manager was unhealthy and it's a massive reason why we are one point above relegation in December. You backed him as much as you could but then changed your mind because you love the club more than the manager. I will always criticise the so-called Chelsea fans who put the fired one before the club. My comments aren't direct at you, mate. :tophat:

I've been both devastated and wound up about our form for several weeks. Having to read people blaming everybody and anything and trying to absolve the man in charge just doesn't sit well with me.
-
I've got a lot of reading to do tonight The fired one's goons had the computers puting today
-
I'm actually laughing going through the thread. Some people are really trying to make excuse for this all-time collapse. Not signing 2-3 world class players doesn't justify this complete and utter capitulation. In the words of Big Mike: "that's not good enough".
-
I think what played a bigger part in Mourinho's sacking than Emenalo is the 9 defeats in 16 league games.
-
I've had a very long day at work so just getting round to reading Emenalo's comments now - no wonder there are some many negative comments about him. Emenalo dropped that fire today. "Chelsea Football Club, one of the biggest clubs in the world, is one point above relegation. That's not good enough." Ouch. No wonder the Mourinho fan boys are out in full force against the Right Honourable Michael Kevin Emenalo.
-
Emenalo Absolute legend. I just wish he made his statement about there being a 'palpable discord' between the players and manager sooner. And what a beautiful way to put it, too. The only thing Emenalo has done wrong in this sorry episode is allow himself to be dictated to by the the fired one. He should now push for a manager that a) knows how to actually get a team to play some decent fucking football and b ) will give the young talent a chance Let's get it, Emenalo.

Good riddance. Won a league title but set the club back about 4 or 5 years in the process. Good luck to whoever has to undo this mess.
