AVB's future can go down in 2 different paths: 1. We miss out on CL and the board decides to sack him and bring in Guus as he is free now. or 2. He qualifies us for CL and stays, perhaps wins a Carling Cup trophy along the way. I fully believe that if given time and money, he can build a great team playing attacking football that our favorite Russian has been wanting so long, but for that, he needs to avoid the merciless Roman axe that many have fallen to, including the world greats like Jose, Scolari and Ancelotti. I really hope it's option 2 He has my support, even if we miss out CL.

Problem with our transition is the pressure on the manager. Can you imagine if AVB started Josh, Oriol and Bertrand against Wolves at home and lost?
