  1. A lot? Bundesliga is probably the 2nd best League right now if you don't count Spanish Primera Real Barca league. The level of football is a bit lower and the style is different, but by no means it's an easy league.
  2. And besides, we would need to pay a lot for him...what was the point of payin' 18m for Lukaku then? Just no.
  3. Haha now that's what you call skill. 1 euro in, 600k out
  4. I am getting horrible loading times while my internet is perfectly fine Also, post edit bugs sometimes and I have to reload the whole page...
  5. Don't blame Mikel that much. He is not world class, but he certainly isn't shit. Sure he made a mistake, but Cech should take a bigger blame for that horrible pass even though he had both JT and Luiz on the wings. JT slipped against Arsenal and cost us points but he isn't shit?
  6. Johnson and Maxi, Adam didn't score We'll finally buy a right back and a winger XD
  7. yet he is a manager that accomplished this in 1 season. Second team to win a Portuguese League Championship unbeaten, following Benfica in 1972/73, and the first in the twenty-first century. Club record for the most matches across all competitions unbeaten (36). This winning streak was begun by the previous coach of Porto, Jesualdo Ferreira. The previous record, 33 matches, was held by Jose Mourinho. Most points in a 30-game Portuguese league season (84 points) Most consecutive wins in the Portuguese league (16). Biggest margin over the second placed team in the league (21 points) He became the third youngest coach to win the Primeira Liga, behind Mihály Siska 1938/39, and Juca 1961/62 Along with Portuguese league, won UEFA Europa League, Portuguese Supercup and Portuguese Cup. That's 4 titles. I'm pretty sure he was just lucky to do all that...
  8. We are not shite, we are just okay. Good movement and acceptance of AVB's ideas, but it will take some time. Manu are shite and without Nani and Rooney they struggle a lot, but Manu are winnin' 1:0 whether by scoring themself or by the opposition doing it for them while on the other hand Van Persie is showing the performances I even can't pull in Fifa (on higher difficulties ) even though I'm pretty good. If we had a striker on form like Arse do things would be much easier for us right now. We lose when we play better then the opponents while Manu win when they are worse. That tells me that our players need some time to get used to everything while Manu has probably the best football manager ever that's been there for 25 years. Can you imagine how would Chelsea do after AVB was 25 years here? Without exaggeration, after 2 or 3 years at SB? I know our defending would've been much better On the other hand, yeah, things can change pretty fast. A few injuries, bit of bad luck and voila. RVP gets an injury? Bye bye to CL for Arse. Injury crisis at Spurs like usually? Bye bye CL. Liverpool? They are good, but for me, they still lack the quality for CL.
  9. Man gives you a finger and you want the whole hand. We had a few good performances, everyone 8(ed)-2 be Arsenal and lots of people thought, "ey we may just do it" until we got put in our place Me? I knew after the transfer period was over that EPL was going to stay at Manchester.
  10. If it was someone else he'd have 1 less rep :giggle:
  11. LMAO as you said that I was imagining Kalou and few others all in fur freezing their asses in Siberia with the depressive music full of sorrow in the background
  12. oh come on LDN RZA that was wrong...I almost negrepped Kez for changing it
  13. Yep, let's do a another Romeu transfer and prepare them a midfield for the future...we may earn a couple of millions on the way like we will for Romeu (unless miracle happens and he ditches them)...
  14. Which one would you pick? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnCQpuavrt0&feature=feedu + Rooney's overhead kick against City. Dunno why is Messi's average goal there... oh, and a must-see troll face at 5:00 I personally am thorn between Stankovic, Neymar and Lopez.
  15. He's good, but yeah we can do better then him. Similar to Zhirkov but a bit more attacking. Somewhere between Nani and Zhirkov.
  16. The most stupid thing is putting him in when we are going for long balls and Liverpool have their defense sitting very deep. Perhaps big D wasn't fit enough?
  17. He's quality, and what's most important he never gives up and gives his best. No fancy feints, pure Messi dribbling. He's on the wrong side of 20es but I'd be happy if we brought him for a reasonable price. With Ivanovic and Kolarov, he is the best my country has right now. He is better then all of our wingers.
  18. Aye, very good article. The most important part
  19. AVB's future can go down in 2 different paths: 1. We miss out on CL and the board decides to sack him and bring in Guus as he is free now. or 2. He qualifies us for CL and stays, perhaps wins a Carling Cup trophy along the way. I fully believe that if given time and money, he can build a great team playing attacking football that our favorite Russian has been wanting so long, but for that, he needs to avoid the merciless Roman axe that many have fallen to, including the world greats like Jose, Scolari and Ancelotti. I really hope it's option 2 He has my support, even if we miss out CL.
  20. We end up 4th with a Carling Cup trophy I would say that we had a successful season in all honesty. Nothing like a trophy in a manager's first season at a club
  21. Problem with our transition is the pressure on the manager. Can you imagine if AVB started Josh, Oriol and Bertrand against Wolves at home and lost? On the other hand, our old guard is nearing towards the end of their career as Chelsea players and they want to play, and for example I think Malouda and Anelka did well this season, and when they didn't they still tried hard. Sure, there were some bad decision, but I see the will and determination. Drogba tried yesterday also, but he needs to realize that he's a striker and that he needs to start shooting! This is the price we pay for having so many managers and such a big difference in the age of players, wave of great 17-20 year old players and most of first team players being over 28.
  22. NO. No more u20 players. We have enough. We need young players, but players who can step up right away like Mata and Luiz. Having such a big difference in years with you players is terrible because you can't risk playing an 18 year old but again the 32 year old who is past it won't provide good enough performance.
  23. That is actually a great formation, but AVB will hardly change the squad now in the PL with the huge pressure we are under. On the other hand, I would really like to see that squad play the Leverkusen match.
  24. Yeah...put any of our defenders and they will do well at Barca
