No Chance Fergie drops his top goal scorer when he is playing well. we have two options kick them up the arse or drop them , the only thing is who to replace them with. This was the thing last year we had the likes of ballack deco and joe cole to add pressure to the first team. i just think most of them now know no matter how they perform they will still have a place in the side. we need more competition for places... when is yossi and zhirkov back?

Josh may not be the answer to our problems but nither are our current bunch , it just looks like they have all given up this season after the sucess of last season and the start to this they expected to roll over teams week in week out and i think this arrogance has cost us. I think i remember someone saying this season they are not Scared of Chelsea anymore. We used to be a force we would go to clubs and they would be afraid of what we would do to them and how to keep the score down, this helps so much mentally for our team but this season its gone.

i have to agree , Drogba did more in the time he came on then torres all game. im not begrudging torres as he needs time to settle in ,i just have always though he wont be the answer to our problems. had torres been here last year he would be banging in the goals. he has come to us at a bad point. Though if i hear carlo say bad moment one more time i might have to go and slap him :eyebrows:

There is an almighty high chance though , I just cant see spuds losing any of those games , they seemed to get lucky against Sunderland and this seem the tread for them this season. unless we start banging in the goals over night , the best we can hope for is draws against utd city and spuds. this will put us so far back though and we will be batteling the bin dippers for 5th. we need to start playing and playing well. The only other option is Citeh fucking up and we take 4th from then. Just wish it was the final day of the season so we could see what happens. Its the not knowing that bothers me , though last season we knew we where going to qualify for the champions league by this point. It hasnt been like this since pre-roman and i can say we all would of been happy with 5th back then we just seem to expect so much nowadays its getting me down thinking that we are 5th and its not even then end of the season we could finnish lower :unsure:

So what do you guys think , with us having to play utd twice and city do you see us finnishing above the yids? they seem to have an easy ride and there beating teams they would normally lose to this season.

Mourinho was only there to see old friends properly or maybe scout Drogba , i wouldn’t read too much into it,. There is no way he is coming back i just don’t see it ever happening . Carlo is a Yes man that’s what Roman wants.

Josh has somthing to prove so it might benifit us brining him on. we need hungry players its not always about the best players to put on the pitch its about the ones who are going to give 100% the issue with Anelka is it seems like he has to think about his whole life before having a shot or making a pass he dwardeles on the ball and it just ends up back wit cech.

We all need to accept this as a possibility , can you honestly see us beating City , and utd twice , the yids have some easy games coming up. What worries me if we do end up in the Channel 5 cup will we be able to attract top players to re build our squad ? or will we end up like Liverpool ? who have their top players brought off them. i would quite honestly dump the fa cup and champions league for a guaranteed top 4 spot.

The system could do with Changeing now. Teams have learnt how to cope with us thats why the goals have dried up. They park the but and counter attack , if we changed the system and trained hard at it and dont tell the press that were going to do it , it would suprise teams we need width the 4-3-3 was great last season we played it well , but Carlo needs to change things before its to late.

Great Game last night , he seems so Confident on the ball , Glad we got him and kept city at bay , he will be one of the best in the future.

We lack the sort of player that can break down a defence. Orginally Lampard would be fantastic at this but after he has come back he has been a shadow of his former self. Im really worried about getting in the top 4 now. I even think if we would have played for another hour we wouldnt have scored.

The thing i always get told is "its just a game" i agree with what a lot of you are saying about the circumstances on how we lose , when you have 30 shots on goal and they have 1 off a players arse and it goes in , it can be so frustrating especially when the media is all hate Chelsea. but that’s football i guess. I think the worst defeats are the ones like against Liverpool where we just saw no effort , if i see all players giving 100% effort it really helps if we lose , As it was nice to see Cech and Ivan getting irate with each other because not letting anyone scores i so important to them. My Dad often says why do you care so much they still cash there £100,000 a week in , but id still like to think some of them are playing for the Shirt and not just the money maybe I’m deluded

Hamsik , we need some fresh blood , the only thing is cesc would be the safe bet as he has pl experience , but that face in our shirt..... plus we know it wont happen.

this is the problem with the media , they never give a player the chance to settle in , if this was a 5million pound transfer there would be no words of flop being mentioned after 10 games of not scoring. I remember People writing of the Drog in his first two seasons here because he cost 24million and look how that turned out. I think Torres wil come good once he has learned our style of play etc and he has still got alot to prove as i sitll see him as a bindipper

Scolari lost the dressing room , the likes of Drogab ,Cech, Ballack Terry hated working with him becuase of his old training methods etc. They have the respect for Carlo.

At the end of the day Carlo is our manager till the end of the season. So we should just get behind the team and concentrating on getting a top 4 spot i think the talk of the UCL and FA cup maybe a dream to far some people think the FA cup is a realistic target , but with citeh ,arse ,and utd still in the hat i think we will struggle. That being said we will be back next season i feel and we can rub it in the media's faces when Chelsea regain the League title next year:champions: You could say had everyone stayed fit , Drogba not having malaria , malouda turning up for a game now and then , we would still be in it the reason we are in the position that we are is over confidence , expecting to roll over teams like we did last year this has become our downfall , we beat Liverpool twice last year and you could say they had a stronger team back then. I see what some people here are saying we are saying he should stay because he won us the double last year and other saying that shouldn’t be the reason to keep a manager that is struggling to give us Champions league football next season. But you dont win a double by being a shite manager. When utd came third and won nothing one year and had a couple of years without a trophy did you see them kicking fergie out. Same with Wenger they might finally get a trophy this year when was the last time anyone could say that. We won’t be able to attract top managers soon if we boot out everyone we get , this team needs stability and is Carlo the right man for the job ? maybe time will tell , but i can’t think of anyone out there who would be willing to take the job at the moment.

Lets face it we have had a lot more this season. The reason I'm asking this question is my family and Girlfriend say I'm terrible when Chelsea lose apparently i go in a mood and won't talk to them properly after a game. As where i just think I'm disappointed The main issue is i go over in my head the possibility of what the loss has cost us and how many points we need to get somewhere after etc. Anybody else like this or just think it's only a game it's alright if spurs finish 4th and we end up in the channel 5 cup. ive supported Chelsea for around 15 years now so ive been used to not being at these dizze heights. Maybe Roman has spoilt us and we now expect to be up there.

Danny is doing well , always knew he had it in him he is such a better option than Kalou , plus he is english and has a great future in the game. I just cant see it being here. He will want first team chances and i still dont think he will get them here even if Drogba and anelka do go.

Its Just The media being lazy looking for somthing to print. Chelsea spend big on torres so they think carlo loves kaka lets say there after him too... Great player a few years back would of had him then, Now he is a shadow of the player he once was and injury prone there are better options out there , Hamsik anyone?
