I think there's no way Bayern or Real would be interested. he's not good enough right now and imo not that talented like people seem to think in England. Only team i can really see going for him in the summer is City. They need a player in Nasri's spot and they need english players because Lampard and Milner are probably gone. I would be very happy if Sterling is the player they get. Hopefully they'll get Barkley too. Yeah im not pro-english, two players who are very talented for english players, not that special outside of England.

Oh come on, we'll allow him all his human rights dont get all touchy now...
-
Didnt saw him plenty of times, but what i saw is something similar to Hazard's talent.
-
Nabil Fekir... damn he's so good. If we're still in for a RW in the summer it should be only him. My feeling is that Hazard-Fekir could be as good as Riberi-Robben.
-
Clearly you're not following... since Dunga replaced Scolari Willian started in 7 of 8 games. Hulk wasnt even invited for those games.
-
Exactly. And the same goes with Mata. And Hazard is off course better than both by miles. I think thats one of the reasons Jose didnt liked them, they're not 'pure team players' like Oscar and Willian.
-
I think Cesc and Oscar link up with Hazard very good as well.
-
Dante is still average but yes, I agree we don't have to spend so much and look for the stars. Copa America starts in a couple of months, maybe that's the perfect place to look for a fast, technical CB who's still under the radar.
-
He was so bad? didnt noticed him. That was an awful 1st half from both teams. Good for Oscar and Willian. Just looked at Dunga's line ups since he came, he have his favourits who starts almost every game: Neymar, Willian, Oscar, Gustavo, Miranda, F.Luis, Danilo, Jefferson (GK). The other spots are open. I think he's done well so far, no more Hulk, Alves and i hope no D.Luiz next.
-
So why did he sigend a contract in last September? maybe he thought this season will be different? Last season he started 17 games while Pepe and Ramos started 50+, this season he started 25, Pepe 32 and Ramos 33. Would this season be the last straw for him and he would ask for a move in a few months? i doubt it.

Like what? Eriksen to me is a player with better close control and better dribble than KDB. Think he'll succussed more against thick defenses on a regular basis.
-
He's good, when it comes to attacking game only he's better than Willian and Oscar, but I wouldnt say he's better than Eriksen for example. He's talented but his talent is limited than other #10 such as Isco, Gotze, James, Koke, Coutinho. I would gladly take some hits from Belgian members now, thank you.
-
If Varane would ask to leave, that is the only option anyone could get him, but he probably wont pass up the chance to be Real's no 1 CB in 2-3 seasons max. I think a player like him should start every game today, not to wait that long. There arent many CBs as good as him but thats the reality, Real have 3 world class CBs.

For some reason our manager thought we are as talented as Wales. Same story every time. Should've parked the bus.

To be honest i didnt watch Thiago a lot before he came to Bayern, i was never watching Barcelona regularly to really notice him in the minutes he got there, so i cant deny anything you said. I saw him in Bayern and this is my opinion of him and not only mine, I know Bayern fans who were very surprised by what they got for only 20m. I think the responsibility Pep gave to him worked like a charm. Again, too bad he couldnt show it more cause of his condition. Did you btw watched him in Bayern a few times?
-
I would seriously advise you to see more of Thiago. The sentence in bold is simply not true. The guy was born to organize a team, like Xabi. Koke never wasnt. Thiago is not as what you call 'mature' as Xabi (he's a bit more adventuress) or even Koke like you said, but Koke doesnt have the skills to control the tempo and hand out passing the all game, its not him. Thiago does that. Although i fully agree Koke-Cesc would be an amazing partnership for us, Cesc-Thiago would be even better.
-
I really, really disagree. Isco, Thiago and also Cesc got simillar technical skills to Xabi, Iniesta and Silva. And all 3 are way more "like them" than Koke. The "next Xabi" is Thiago, no doubt for me. If you saw him in Bayern last season you can see he's huge and will prove that if he could stay fit.
-
I agree with you. But still, he's more talented and has more flair than Oscar, and he'll make us more dominant in central midfield. There are more options, some are very different and would cost less (AMs like Firmino, Berhimi, Fekir) or someone who'll play a similar role Koke would play and would also cost more than he should - Pogba. Its about what Jose wants more. About Juanfran, Azpi looks even more robotic than him tbh.

not controversial like some crazy things i read here... but i'll give it a try. * Hazard is the best AM in the world (not included Messi and Ronaldo). Not because i like him, i just think that all-around he's better than the likes of Neymar and even Robben. Brings more to the table. * Ronaldo is a boring footballer which i wouldnt want to see in Chelsea. He's too direct for my taste, very little magic in him. * I know La Liga is the best league in the world right now, the managers, the tactics are a lot better than in the PL, and also the average spainard player is way better than the average english player, BUT i still find most of the La Liga games boring. if its not a game between the five of Real, Barca, Atletico, Valencia, Sevilia, I probably wouldnt watch. They should do something about the crowed, the stadiums.. i dont know. Something. cause the football is the best but the PL is still much more watchable. * If Thiago Alcantara wouldnt have sufferd those knee injuries, everyone would agree by now he is by far the best CM in the world. The guy is a phenomenon. He's like Hazard but in central midfield. My dream is to see him in Chelsea. * I like Zlatan off the pitch like everyone else probably, but i dont like him too much on it. I never saw a team that built around him and played really well, and i dont think it could happen cause he's too dominant.

I think mentally KDB wasnt ready to be at Chelsea and especially under a demanding manager like Jose, i believe he didnt want or couldnt work that much for Jose so thats why he was sold. As a Chelsea fan i would only regret his departure when he'll play for a big club like us and succeed (and would commit to hard and demanding work). * Although i'll admit he's doing superbly well in Wolfsburg, more than i expected. Mourinho haters in this forum can cry all they want, till now zero of his non-wanted players is doing that - Mata, Lukaku, Salah, Schurlle, KDB - non of them is playing at a big club playing like a big player. I know most of them are still young but my point is that blaming Jose so much is ridiculous when those players are far away from proving their point. And i think the main reason for this is that members here cant understand the big difference between playing for Chelsea and playing for Everton, Wolfsburg and Fiorentina. And another thing, the fact that from Chelsea they went to those clubs is another fact that proves Jose's point.

You can see it does mean something in Shaktar. Willian went for 35m euros after many summers of rumors about a switch, Fernandinho also went for the same price in the age of 28. I guess if Costa gets his switch in the next 2 years it would be for at least 40m.
-
This Arsenal fan/journalist Ben Fairthorne from twitter really thinks it would be a battle between us and PSG. He's a bulshiter as far as i noticed though....
-
Shaktar are as stubborn as Porto. Costa said a few days ago that his realese clause is around 50m euros.
-
Im pretty sure it wasnt the reason. Everyone who watched Cuadrado in Italy or Colombia 2-3 times can tell you his ball control is far far away from Hazard's and even Willian's. Imo the reason we got him was his explosiveness and pace on the right wing.
-
My early conclusions on Cuadrado and the whole AMs saga in January.. There is one connection between Cuadrado, Schurlle and Salah that i think no one can ignore - the ball control / technical abilities / close control of all three are... how to say.... not great. Not ideal for a big team who wants to control possession, wants to move the ball quick, wants to keep the ball and link up in tight spaces. Its also something that they cant improve drastically. One of the things im sure of right now after the season we had so far, is that Chelsea cant play with a AM like those 3 in their first line up. A big team who wants to be top 4 in the world today, needs to push to have the maximum players who can play the ball quick, can handle ball pressure and all the other things i wrote which are basically the same thing - great technical abilities. Thats football today, look at Bayern, Barcelona and Real - almost 100% of their first eleven are players who can play the ball, even the defenders. And off course its important mostly in midfield. Thats one of the two reasons to why Mourinho likes Willian more than any other AM (after Hazard, and the other reason is off course the work rate), his contribution in the final third is underwhelming, but his technical abilities are great, and way better than those players i mentioned, and even Oscar's. Some members are angry Salah is gone and doing so well, but like i said he couldnt succeed here. Fiorentina suits his pace and dribble, cause they play on counter attacks with very few players up, so he looks like a little Maradona there trying to do it all and running around. Have him back in Chelsea and it will be the same - he would look like someone who just started playing football. I think Cuadrado is more talented than Salah and Schurrle, so maybe he could at least develop to be a good back up player, unlike Salah and Schurrle (this season). And last... Douglas Costa. The player everyone here didnt want so bad, in a bizzare way i must say, cause none of them watched him more than a few. I'll tell you what, now im completely sure the notorious D.Costa was the first name on Jose's list last January, not Cuadrado. And its for the same old reason again - great technical abilities, which he got. And im also sure Costa would have played if he was the player we got and not Cuadrado, he would have played a lot more than a few bench appearances. He speaks the same 'football language' Cesc, Hazard and Willian speaks, and instead we got another AM who speaks different language. Now while im not saying we should try to sign D.Costa again in the summer, im saying we lack another player who speaks that language. Hopefully we would get him, and hopefully it would be a player who's more decisive and smart on the ball like Cesc/Hazard, rather than another Willian, but the 'great technical abilities' is a MUST and the most important issue. And about Cuadrado again, he should stay and fight for his place, but the maximum imo is that he'll be a good super sub for a year or two until he feels he needs more game time.
