Scolari has never coached Robinho. For TOCFCWS: "I don't train Robinho, never trained Robinho, but I like him because his style is different. And if he tries to dribble several times, he is a different player, and we need one player inside the pitch who can make a difference," Scolari said.

In his quotes, he says he has 'an amazing financial offer' from Chelsea, or something along the lines of. Does that mean that Real have allowed us to discuss terms with him? Or is it all just through his agent?

http://www.marca.com/edicion/marca/futbol/...lo/1157352.html This link on Marca has a video of him saying it all, so the quotes are legit.

Returns Possible at Wigan Felipe Scolari has given a fitness update ahead of Sunday's game versus Wigan, including news on two Michaels plus Didier Drogba. Michael Ballack failed to finish last weekend's opener due to a foot injury while Michael Essien was unavailable. José Bosingwa was withdrawn during Portugal's midweek international. 'I have little problems with Ballack, Bosingwa and with Essien,' reported Scolari after Friday's training session. 'Now we started with Essien training more regularly. Bosingwa and Ballack are in good condition for Sunday and Essien maybe can play for 45 minutes, maybe no.' Looking more long term, the Chelsea manager also discussed Didier Drogba's rehabilitation from a chronic knee problem that has prevented him from playing since the Champions League Final. 'Drogba is better than before,' Scolari said. 'His knee is very well and he has been training every day in the morning and afternoon. 'Maybe against Tottenham, it is possible [for him] to play 30-45 minutes but if not Tottenham, complete recuperation for next game after the next national team games.'

Robinho: "I want to go to Chelsea" http://www.as.com/futbol/articulo/robinho-...dasdasftb_1/Tes Robinho has taken a firm step to leave Real Madrid. Through an interview at his home with Reuters, made public his desire to leave Chelsea. Quiet. With a clear message to convey, the Brazilian takes a momentous step for your club to request the transfer. It approaches the end of the period of signings and its future remains unresolved, what is your intention? Queda en el Real Madrid is not my goal for next season. Respect much to the club, the players and especially the fans, who always treated me well, but it's not my goal. I have a good proposal for me and the club also, and my goal next season is not continue at Real Madrid. What are the reasons? The key is that I have the illusion of playing the English League. Chelsea have a great squad, a great team, a proposal is good for me and the club. I have the goal of playing there. I have nothing against Real Madrid, I am very grateful because I have been given many things, has given me a very large projection, but at this point my goal is to leave Real Madrid. I hope that can be resolved as quickly as possible. Speaking of excited about playing another league but since many pockets are pointing to money. Is not the economic aspect the main reason? It is not for money, simply because I have the goal to leave. My personal goal is to be the best player in the world and at Real Madrid this is not going to be possible. So, I have the goal of playing next season in the English League. In Spain is always spoke of beginning and end of cycles, have you finished the Robinho at Real Madrid? I think so. He completed a cycle. He played three seasons at Real Madrid, I gave my maximum. I have goals, he won two leagues, which is not easy. I believe that my time at Real Madrid has reached the end. I hope that managers reach an agreement with Chelsea to resolve my situation as quickly as possible. There have been many similar cases in reverse, with Real Madrid player. Without going any further departure from Santos or recently the case of Cristiano Ronaldo. Is it a compelling reason for the club understands his position? Already I told him that the president, directors and the coach also, it is not my goal to continue at Real Madrid. Each player has a personality, I have mine and he had not spoken to the press to avoid controversy. Now I'm telling the truth, I want to leave, and I have the personality of the press by saying that I do not have the goal of staying at Real Madrid. I thank the fans love her, the players with whom I have a friend for life, but my goal next season is to play the Premier League. He speaks at all times in good relationship with all the costumes, is equally good with Bernd Schuster? My relationship with the coach and players is the best. I was fortunate to have some good mates who have always treated me well, I have an enormous affection by all players, without any exception, Spaniards and foreigners. For Schuster, too. I think this is a great coach who never had a problem. I have nothing bad to talk about the players or the coach. Will refused to play the first leg of the Supercup in Valencia? No. I told the coach on Valencia but I want my situation resolved as quickly as possible. I want to play for the Premier League, I head there, but from the moment that the coach puts me to play I do one hundred percent. First because I have a T-shirt, behind a hobby that requires a lot, second because the field is my image that I convey to others and third by the whole workforce, because if I go to a loose ball is harming the entire staff and that's not I like. When it came to play what I butt, sometimes I get and others do not, but always at the top game. Calls to Real Madrid that he venda, what are the next steps forward? The next step is that managers understand my situation, resolve it as quickly as possible, but I will continue as a professional that I am. I have never missed any training Real Madrid, he trained every day and I will continue to do so. About playing, I do not know if I will play or not, mainly because if things do not I get good people can say that I am not leaving because I am the head there. To avoid this type of comment is better than Schuster put other players. It criticized his performance in the first leg, does it hurt the situation to pay living below their level? I tried to give me the most. Of course I want thoughtful and everything is resolved as quickly as possible, but when I entered the field I try to forget everything that's happening outside and I try to give the maximum. What message left at the end of Real Madrid fans? If I had to mandar a message to the fans is thanks. Thank you for your affection and treatment that took me.

Taken a new turn this morning. This one is going right to the wire I think. http://www.marca.com/edicion/marca/futbol/...lo/1157352.html In todays Marca, including direct quotes from Robinho. Translates too:

No, just needs the title changing. I'll do that once the club have confirmed it. --- Edit: Didnt realise there was another topic. Go here: http://www.talkchelsea.net/forum/index.php...ic=2451&hl= Closed.

45 minutes of good football does not count as 'top form'. He was amazing against Villa, but it was by no means going to be the turning point for him.
-
Was going to say exactly what BL said. I wouldn't take to much notice of this. Ben Andrews who now seems to be the main man on ChelseaTV, or Gigi (cant remember who did the report last night), said that although Sunday would come too early for him, he could be in contention for the Spurs game the following week. --- Note: Changed the topic title on this one guys. Too vague.
-
22 goals, but only 9 in 49 league games. The stick he gets from the media is deserved.
-
I'd rather just allow him to go on a free and cut him out of our wage bill than pay 90% of his wages for him to play for another club. The following season, the same will happen, and he'll see out the remainder of his contract like Crespo did. It's a joke.
-
Rumour is that we are going to be paying 90% of his wages. Absolutely ridiculous. Who makes these decisions for f**k sake?

Know its just rumours but still Rio for Captain

JT Named England Permanent Captain There was only ever one choice wasn't there?! Congrats JT. There truely is, only one England captain.

Really can't see the reason's why Capello favours Rio over JT, but he obviously does. Taking him to T&T is an obvious sign. The guys a good defender, but to make him England captain is a joke IMO, and if Rio is selected, I certaintly won't support him. Looks also like hes going to leave Frank out, and play Barry. -
They are in the UEFA Cup.
