  1. Liverpool asked Chelsea about Mata but they were told he is not available for transfer. (Guillem Balague)
  2. On the other hand, BBC's Phil Mc'Nulty claims that "Everton still retain hope of signings Manchester City's Gareth Barry but time is marching on - and still no Marouane Fellaini to Manchester United." I'm wondering if City aren't trying to cockblock United by not letting Everton have a replacement for Fellaini.
  3. I would, but only if I knew that Mata is going to leave today no matter what. Ibra + 15m would clearly be better than Mata to Liverpool for money.
  4. MATA OF FACT?France football writer Matt Spiro: "The French television station Infosport Plus is confirming that Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata is presently holding talks with PSG. "Signing the Spaniard would, in my eyes, make perfect sense for Laurent Blanc's team. The French champions may be getting consistent results in Ligue 1, yet they continue to appear disjointed with no obvious link between midfield and attack. "Their current playmaker Javier Pastore has been operating as part of a midfield three of late, with Ibrahimovic, Cavani and Lavezzi in attack, but the Argentinian - who certainly hasn't set the capital alight following his £35m move from Palermo in 2011 - is struggling badly this season and has been jeered at the Parc des Princes in the last two home games. "Mata's ability to supply PSG's big-name forwards could be just what Blanc needs." ©BBC
  5. If we are stupid enough to sell Mata today, we should at least do it NOT to another Premier League team.
  6. United are just desperate to sign someone. 36m for Herrera is absurd.
  7. With this Twitter bullshit, all you have to do is make an account and pretend that you have information that Catania will sign Steven Gerrard in the next few hours and everyone will go insane about it. I hope no one is leaving us, except for Ba and some youngsters on loan.
  8. Crystal Palace have, by far, the best atmosphere in England at the moment, in my opinion. There's a group of boys with drums, flags and scarfs singing and jumping during the games. That's how you support your team!
  9. I can't wait for Tuesday to come and this transfer window to close and people to finally shut the fuck up about Mata and Luiz.
  10. True, they still have some issues to deal with, but I think Benitez is smart enough to do it. Also, I think they've managed pretty well with spending the money obtained on Cavani.
  11. Sure, but those issues are natural since they changed half of the starting XI, as you said. Anyway, I can see them giving Juve a good fight for the first place.
  12. Agreed, but I can't help thinking that he sounds like a broken record. You can already guess what he's gonna say after a loss. He's been doing this kind of things since he first came to us so I don't know if anyone is initmidated anymore.
  13. Napoli are looking great. Seems that Rafa's doing a good job. I'm pretty sure that they and Borussia will get through in the UCL.
  14. He's probably still the best LB in the world.
  15. For the first time, I agree with Mou on benching Juan. The game plan was plain and simple. We needed men capable of putting effort and running all over the pitch for 120 minutes. Everyone on the field did that. From the 4 defenders, who were absolutely brilliant, to Schurrle, Eden and even Torres. I don't know if Mata could've kept the rhythm. Though, I'm pretty sure that he would've came in for the second half of ET if Ramires wasn't sent off.
  16. I want to ask everyone who's able to answer a question. I don't get to watch TV shows, analysis, referees' and opponents' statements, so I was just wondering if these Mourinho permanent comments about referees do us any good. It's just that I am tired of seeing other people (from journalists to fans) calling him names and hating on him because he always complains about referees and opponents. And sometimes I agree with them about Mou being wrong (in fairness, Ramires deserved a straight red last night, not a second yellow) but if it helps us by any means, I accept it as it is.
  17. People complaining about Lukaku should remember that Mata also missed a penalty in the Champions League final. Of course, it was not decisive since it didn't lose us the trophy, but still it was a penalty missed in a final. The point is that shit like this happens. To everyone, at any moment. If all the players would've left their clubs or ended their careers after missing a penalty in an important moment, Roberto Baggio, Trezeguet or Schweinsteiger would be sad history by now.
  18. How is that even fair? He didn't try anything like this. He just lost it for a second and had a bad shot. Bench for the next month and future here finished? Aren't we going too far with this?
  19. Thank you, Chelsea FC, for another amazing night! No matter who our manager is, no matter who our players' names are, IT'S IN OUR BLOOD and it won't go anytime soon. I'm talking about this amazing spirit. I'm so proud of my team. Blaming Lukaku is a disgrace. The lad is young and the pressure on his shoulders was huge. Let's cut him some slack. Come on, Chelsea!
  20. Oscar was imense tonight. Just like Luiz.
  21. If only Ramires wouldn't have his brainfart moments at times...
