  1. There we go, you have my like! I am sure you expect more! Come on, you guys, feed him!
  2. As expected, more childish behaviour. But what can you ask from a man who has that kind of picture as his avatar?! Nah, I don't crave brainless football like the one Wenger makes his team play. I crave a little bit of courage from a team like ours and more than 0 shots after one half of the game against a good opponent. I explained myself many times before, I don't understand why you keep bringing the Rodgers and Wenger argument up to discussion, since it clearly has nothing to do with what I'm saying. P.S: After what Chelsea's attacking players showed yesterday, do you honestly believe that we can't try more against a team like City?
  3. So I guess this is how things are going to be from now on. After every convincing win, some people will start acting childish. The game was excellent, great passing and nice team goals, hands down. Beating Villa like this is great and I am really happy about it, but it has nothing to do with what we've been discussing on the last '5-10 pages'. And it doesn't change my opinion regarding the other matter (the City game, to be more specific) and it doesn't change the fact that we were EXTREMELY defensive against City and way too precautious. So before being so sarcastic and full of himself, someone should understand the difference between the two matters.
  4. You are not a racist, you're just ignorant. I might be from Eastern Europe, but at least I know the difference between "your" and "you're". This is the kind of man who thinks that if he has the money to go to every Chelsea game, then only him and people like him should be entitled to an opinion. And the sad thing is that he is not the only one who thinks like that. Why don't you go create a forum just for you and your buddies who travel to every game? That way, you could be happy and avoid stupid Eastern Europeans like us.
  5. Even if I agree with most of your thoughts, I can't agree with this one. He can't be blamed for scoring against us and you can't criticize him because he didn't miss that opportunity. He was right to score, it was just the right and professional thing to do in that situation. The damage was already done, in my opinion, and him scoring against us has nothing to do with it.
  6. Well, since it's pretty clear that we won't reach a conclusion, the only thing that we can do is to agree to disagree. It's not like there's a law saying that Lampard is a Chelsea legend and he's untouchable. If people choose to consider him a traitor, let them. If people choose to consider him a legend, let them. This so called 'debate' is useless and it's got way too far, in the moment when people started taking it personal and judging others. Time to get over it.
  7. I have an idea for you guys moderating this forum: make two areas of it. One for the fans and one for the "fans". Apparently, we, the "fans" (a.k.a. those who criticize more and have unpopular opinions sometimes) are very numerous on TC and there are Gods like this guy that I quoted who can help you sort us.
  8. He was loved, at first. He was seen as a great future star, when Chelsea signed him. People were expecting him to become a national hero. But after the cocaine incident, almost all the respect that people had for him went to dust. And after he did it again, when he was playing for Fiorentina, everyone understood that he's a clown.
  9. I wans't talking to you. Calm down. I am the one who said that CHELSEA IS NOT A DEFENSIVE CLUB. Do you even read my posts?
  10. Of course he's not. He's not loved and respected by Romanians either. It was an irony.
  11. Trust me, Mutu is as loved and respected by Romanians as he is by most of the Chelsea fans. So bringing him into discussion won't make any difference. Only if sherry33 is a Mutu fan, which I doubt. Regardless, maybe I'm under the wrong impression, but if you have something against Romanians, you should go ahead and tell us. On the other hand, I think that this has gone way too far. Moneywhore, traitor, Judas are disgraceful words when used to describe a Chelsea legend like Frank Lampard. Even if I was and still am dissapointed by the path he chose to follow, I will always love and respect his legacy. You can criticize him without using that kind of language. There we go...
  12. Barca at the Bridge under Hiddink was a way better approach than Barca at the Bridge under Di Matteo, for example. You can't even compare the ties. But still, it's true that Hiddink had a better squad back then. This is another topic of discusion. I think you are falling in the trap set by the media. Chelsea is not a defensive club. We just tend to adopt this approach at certain points of the seasons and this is what bothers me, to be honest. But Chelsea is also the club that set the goal scoring record in the Premier League, under Carletto, for example. Chelsea won a lot of games by playing good attacking football, even under Mourinho. The fact is that most of the time, we are not parking the bus. We just do it on some occasions, but I think that we should stop doing that because now our team is strong enough to allow Chelsea to look like a balanced positive team against any opponent. We have enough quality to try controlling any game or at least avoid parking the bus, even if it's against Barcelona or Real Madrid. Since I'm at it, I would like to point out again that, as I said before, City are far from going through their best times, and we should've at least tried to take advantage of that, by playing with a little bit more courage against them. Imagine if we were 8 points clear now. All that enthusiasm and that joy. And the message that would've been sent to any other team in the League and Europe: we are Chelsea, we just beat the champions, we are 8 points clear top of the league and we are not joking about this. Instead, now people are talking about how we parked the bus at 1-0 with 11 vs 10...
  13. Me too and I never said otherwise. I said that I would choose Klopp, in case Mourinho leaves us (it was just hypotetical situation), because I like his style and I like what he did at Dortmund. He's struggling now, yes, but that's not the point.
  14. Zouma must be given his chance. It's time to try to change some of that sloppy defensive. I hope Cech and Remy start. I really miss Petr.
  15. If this is the situation, I would certainly want Jurgen Klopp to be our next manager. Or Guss Hiddink. And no, I would never want Guardiola here.
  16. Real didn't win it, but they somehow got the trophy. Ok, I get it. Let's move on. I started to follow Chelsea in 2003, when Mutu joined the club and the Romanian media started to be really hyped about Chelsea. I was watching every Chelsea game covered by the television. I still remember that Gronjkaer goal against Monaco, I still remember the blondes (Gudjhonsen and Duff), the tank that was Makelele and so on. Yes, there was this spirit, there was that atmosphere at the Bridge that made me like them. But I was way too young to understand tactics and philosophies. And I completely disagree with the statement that Chelsea always played like this. Remember the second part of the 2008-2009 season, when Hiddink was our manager. If I was to give up on Chelsea or anything, I could've done it way earlier. I feel ofended that you jumped to the conclusion that I am not supporting the team "win or lose" only from the fact that I criticized the way that we played against City.
  17. You are wrong and you have gathered the wrong impression. I praised our board, for example, just after getting rid of Torres and signing Remy. That's if you really want a certain example. I praised Brana recently, after his great attacking displays, I praised Azpi, I praised JT etc. And even if I wouldn't have done that, you are still wrong to ignore all of my arguments and tell me that I'm not a Chelsea fan. If you disagree with me, I think it would be fair to tell me why I'm wrong and explain your point of view, instead of making false assumptions. I've been on this forum since 2010 (I was 17 back then). Do you really think that a 17 years old would join a forum like this and keep pretending to be a fan for 4 years?
  18. Sorry, I misunderstood this post. I never said that there should be anyone else managing us. I just said that I am expecting something else from us and that Mourinho promised that things will change. I never asked him to be sacked or anything, I just said that. Maybe things will change in the next games, who knows? But I think I have the right to express my dissapointment on this forum, just like you have the right to disagree with me. And you were not the one saying anything about my country, I wasn't talking about you there. Agreed, but from respecting the man and loving him to asking all of us to "worship" him there's a long way. Yes, it's the fault of people like you who bring other people's age or country into discussion in order to what? It's the fault of people who don't allow other people to express their opinion and thoughts, just because they are about the man who they "worship". With that last sentence, I think that you put yourself in place and anyone with a little education and common sense realizes it.
  19. They were close to losing it and so were we. Exactly what I said: an argument that goes both ways. Atletico won La Liga against all odds playing similar to us. Borussia won Bundesliga against almost all odds two years ago, playing spectacular football and were in the CL finals, one year later, nearly winning it. Another argument that can go both ways. So there you have it: there's no recipe for success. You can win it playing "like us" or playing the other way. Except that there are a lot more teams that won it by going "the other way". And that's a fact. So you think that choosing which club to follow is a rational thing to do? Like "hey, let's pick a club. let's see: these guys play like this, these guys win things, these guys are from this town and so on"? Mate, I follow Chelsea because that's what I felt like when I was younger. It didn't involve any maths. And just because this has been our hallmark for ages, doesn't mean that we all have to agree that it is the only way or that we can't do better.
  20. Thank you, getlemen, for proving that fanatism can't lead to anything else but idiotic non-sense conclusions. One talks about manureism because I don't share the same opinion with one who wants us to WORSHIP Mourinho and agree like loyal little dogs with everything he says and does (and brings my country into discussion as it has any importance at all) and one gives me a speech about me being the manager, just like a kindergarten kid would to (not to mention that he thinks that going to Stamford Bridge makes your opinion more relevant or something). Impressive. And all that because we don't share the same opinions regarding football and the way Chelsea plays it at the moment. No wonder other people call us the way they do. I am completely disgusted.
  21. Yes, there is. You said that Real Madrid were lucky to equalize in the 93rd minute, like that makes their title less deserved or important. That's why I gave Chelsea as example, in order to make you understand that your argument is not really an argument, since it can be used both ways. Whatever, I think we should stop right here and just agree to disagree. You're happy with it, I'm not happy with it, we just have to wait and see what happens next. I really don't want to continue with a discussion where people are talking about Mourinho being worshiped and so on. It's way too much for me.
  22. Why don't you make a new religion? Something like Mourinhoism, since you're all about worshipping and shit.
