  1. Well he's been saying that Chelsea keep buying strikers but it's not a problem for him because he has a lot of clubs interested. I think he could have chosen to stay last season precisely because the competition consisted of a stop-gap Eto'o, an okay Ba and the unmitigated disaster from Spain. Following the Azpi route could've done him wonders. Nevertheless, he decided to leave (WC or whatever, like you say) and what's done is done. He had an alright season albeit nothing spectacular. I do agree, he should be given a chance here. Well Ba has already come out and said that Mourinho has promised him more playing time this season so it's up in the air if he will actually leave. Torres is Torres, he'll be here even after he is dead. If one of them (or both - Hallelujah!) do leave, it's a no brainer that Lukaku will be with the squad. The problem then comes from the guy's attitude. He's young, badly advised and appears borderline bipolar in his continuous mouthing off. Mourinho doesn't like this ("Lukaku likes to talk") and I have a sneaking suspicion that he doesn't rate him as a player either ("Playing for Everton is different from playing for Chelsea", no quotes in the recent MARCA interview where he chose to spoke about nearly every other squad issue, our being linked with other strikers). As it should; he's the manager. Lukaku is saving Mourinho the trouble of making up his mind, though.
  2. I do too but the man himself thinks he is too good to be #2 at Chelsea, which is highly unlikely to do down well with the man who runs the team.
  3. Garay to Zenit for 6 million euros.
  4. Poor nothing. Their fans won't blink twice when they cherry pick players from lesser clubs. They're just part of the chain.
  5. What will affect Lukaku most is his non-stop chatter. The fucker needs to learn to keep his trap shut. I suspect Mourinho has already given up on him.
  6. The French league is a strong league defensively. Bundesliga - wank league? Get outta here.
  7. We are talking about Marin, right? The guy wouldn't be a massive addition to our u19s.
  8. It's this simple - Shaw, Lukaku or any other self-professed Chelsea 'fan' out there doesn't owe Chelsea or it's support anything, just like Chelsea doesn't owe those players anything. It's a business for the club and a business for the players and in both cases, nothing is ever permanent. The club's only consideration in terms of playing personnel is their fit and their cost and the only consideration for players is their paycheque and the chance to fight for trophies. Everything else is PR. Each and every player who has ever played for any football club anywhere in the world would do what's best for (his) business, whether that's talking up his teammates or club and it matters fuck all who they support on a personal level. Supporters should stop hanging on to the words clubs and players spout on social media or in front of cameras - that's just a set up for disappointment.
  9. Well he's hardly going to say otherwise. Standard new signing talk.
  10. I think PEA would be a very nice addition to the squad (especially for anything under 15 mn £) as a foil for Costa. Don't think Mourinho's going to put up with Lukaku's antics. In games where we come up against parked defences, I'd happily throw him up top alongwith the Spaniard.
  11. There is no way anyone can go about establishing intention when it comes to leg-breaking tackles.
  12. Not sure if serious ... Let's sign Ameobi and Leon Best, then?
  13. SS/WF/ST (Extremely) quick and direct, good technique, good finishing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsZMfpL8_5k
  14. Henrique just can't handle the tooth

  16. Bloody hell. How many Gatorade bottles do you go through before sitting down to post?
  17. Meh he's pony against us most of the time.
  18. Robbie Fowler : Ten game ban for Uruguay games is enough. When he bit Ivanovic in the league, he was still allowed to play for Uruguay so now that he's done it in a World Cup, Liverpool shouldn't be punished. Scouse logic.
  19. Especially Oscar. Injury, fatigue, WC - whatever the excuse(s), he was a Conference standard player for much of the season.
  20. I'm salivating at the prospect of him feeding Diego Costa. Hazard created some 80+ chances in the league in 13-14, the highest across Europe (even if you take Opta/Whoscored numbers with a 20 or 30% margin based on their definition of 'chances', that's still quite a number) - now imagine Costa and acclimatised versions of Schurrle/Salah/Willian on the end of those ... tasty.
