  1. Good to hear, but who knows if he's even coming back. I must admit, I'm highly doubting the club holds a future for him..
  2. When John became captain he was 23, Ranieri handed him this armband & Mourinho kept him on. They both realised who John's an icon, the only player in recent times to come through the academy, thus, embodying the spirit of the club. That could've been Josh
  3. Yep, especially when these players have no re-sale value now. Drogba, Anelka & Kalou will probably walk on a free this summer (hopefully!). Who's actually going to replace them? We had a chance for Aguero and acted too late. Neymar? For like £54million + £250k/week? No way.
  4. John Terry gave our defence, for the last 11 years, a strong leader. Before him Desailly did this job, very effectively. In fact John often credits Marcel for that experience and education, not only did he teach him to be a defensive leader, but a captain. The same should be happening now. But who's ready to step-up? Now you all see why we're going for Gary Cahill (who might not be the right choice - but the principle of why he's a target is obvious). Ivanovic at CB is a big no for me because he's a better RB. Alex is being forgotten and tbh, I see him being sold this Jan to Juventus or whoever's interested no.w
  5. Yep. I'm sure he won't play on Wednesday anyway, but probably on Saturday v. Wolves.
  6. Different type of game, reckon we'll come away with a good win tbh. /optimism.
  7. He can't adapt to this high-line, and that's a big problem for us.
  8. Reminds you a bit of Essien doesn't he, Adam?
  9. Loved the way Lampard gave a lot of lip back to C*nt Bellamy.
  10. Hahaha, I know. This shall be my last change in name, promise
  11. Lampard & Terry were here before José, but sayin..
  12. I'm bored of LDN Blue. RZA would be nice, a tribute to a great musician
  13. Good analysis Sloth. I think you're right and reflecting what we've said before, we need wingers. It's not like we're not trying though. Hazard, De Bruyne, Mata <- All wingers. I'm sure this isn't the end of our chases for such players. Good, if we're not. Bring back our voice at Stamford Bridge, all I kept hearing today was the 'You'll Never Walk Alone' anthem.
  14. Why not with RDM? Anyway I don't think that's happening any time soon. I'm pretty sure, there was an argument with Abramovich that led up to that.
  15. I hope Bertrand is keeping himself as fit as he can. Villas-Boas saw Bosingwa's failings and made the call for Ivanovic to step-up. He will, perhaps, do the same for Ash.
  16. It does look tough at the moment, especially with the unbalanced team. However we're only 3 months in, into Villas-Boas' tenure. Progress is hard to see, but I'm pretty sure André is working hard to correct these. Give it a bit longer, it's not easy to try and implement a new tactic into a squad to used to the old system. That's why cohesion is hard to see, but have faith he does not take this lightly.
  17. Exactly. He was much more effective than Torres would've been at all. You're making excellent analytical points today.. Good to see some composure amongst the hysteria.
  18. Yep, Malouda doesn't make it easy at all. Ash's pace has reduced over the last few years, especially with the amount of games he plays. I think Van Aanholt would make a fantastic left-winger.. His pace and crossing is very good! And being a left-back, he'd understand the importance of tracking back.
  19. Against Arsenal and now Liverpool, we've been ripped apart on that right-hand side. Ashley Cole is a bit of a concern at the moment.
  20. Even Liverpool fans know he's the main brains behind Dalglish
