I believe so, as was Neymar's. My point was not that it wasn't a great goal, it's the context of the explanation I was referring to.

Rooney's was luck. It was the circumstances that the hype came about, if he did it v. Wigan no-one would care.. Which is the same argument you can make for Neymar. Neymar's was brilliant because of the run, the skill to beat the defender and the finish. Rooney's was pure, dumb, luck. You can twist both goals around to do the pro v. cons.
