Funny how people here are praising Tuchel over Potter considering the fact that Tuchel had a 42% win percentage this season before he got fired 🤣 So the win percentage basically stayed the same the whole season. U can argue about Potter and replacing him by lets say Pep, but in fact Potter ist just prolonging what Tuchel started. Also, if u look at the end of last season, our win percentage under Tuchel in the last 10 games of last years season dropped to 33%! There was a decline that started way earlier. And we are still in this dip.

I think non of us here has the competence in football to assess that. We know far less about football than we think and wish we do. In the end, it doesnt matter what we think anyway. The times of early manager sackings are over and Potter will be here for the whole of 2023.

This is like Germanys WC win the year before. They won despite Enrique, not bc of him. He had prime Messi and Neymar. We have Havertz and Mount. As if Enrique would know what to do with them after he found out that they cant play tiki taka. Spains performances under him were very very dull with technically far more gifted players than we have atm. Also, this guy hasnt trained a club for 6 years now. This guy had 1 good year as a coach in his entire career, having players like Messi, Neymar, Iniesta, Xavi and Suarez in his team. He never showed that he can make it with younger, rougher players.

We were shit under Tuchel as well, who didnt have so many injuries. We got destroyed by Leeds, we got humiliated by Southampton, were the joke of the month after Zagreb. We still see the shadows of Tuchels summer. Tuchel ruined this club. And to be fair: the first few weeks under Potter were way better than under Tuchel. 7 wins in his first 10 games. Then came the injuries and the WC. You really think appointing a random new manager at this moment would make anything better? Delusional. Especially if I hear names like Poch or Enrique, these specialists in failure.

Because no one can assess his work. Guy jumped in in September, had no squad for weeks during and after the world cup and had only half of the squad available since then. Did Potter even have a single full training week with the whole squad yet? To say Potter has failed already and shouting for a sack based on the given circumstances is just dubious and populist.

Nothing will happen. They will be fined a lot, which ofc is no problem for them and maybe a few points deduction, thats it.
