  1. Midfielder ist just too complicated this window. Leave that for the summer. Get Gusto and call it a day.
  2. Why not exactly? If Enzo prefers a move to another club, why would he even want to join us in january?
  3. Funny how everyone is so thirsty for a player no one knew 5 months ago 🤣
  4. Tbh Chelsea doesnt have a particular good experience with buying high profile players from big clubs. Chelsea has been about buying young hungry players, especially in the most successful years. Drogba, Carvalho, Lampard, Cech, Essien, Robben, Duff, Gudjohnson and so on, all came from smaller clubs, not really considered as absolutely worldclass. I have a sense that we are rebuilding the 2005 to 2009 team atm. Young, hungry, energetic.
  5. Actually thats pretty good. Im sure a lot of clubs would have copied us from now on. So if UEFA bans this now just means we took advantage of sth other clubs cant do in the future.
  6. Also: where are the people that said we dont have a pull with Potter and our current position??? 😂
  7. No signing yet. Lyon rejected the first bid.
  8. Ofc not, I was the same. But this alone should give us hope that Potter will get it right in the end. Its possible.
  9. I wanna apologize for this post in advance. I really dont wanna mock the quoted people here, tbh I have done enough posts where I claimed things that turned out to be wrong so please dont take it as an offense, but I just wanna show a few past assessments about Arteta and Arsenal: I think Arsenals success this season just shows that we shouldnt judge too early about a team, about a coach, about an approach to manage things. Arsenals season should give us hope about Chelsea and Potter.
  10. Yeah, in den PL, anything can happen. Remember the 2013/14 season. Arsenal was top of the league after 22 games, they finished 4th. Liverpool was 3 points clear with 3 games to go, didnt make it.
  11. City still to play Arsenal twice tho.
  12. Literally cant be worse than that. 22 goals in 20 games. Its a shame.
  13. Transfers this season under Tuchel: Koulibaly, Sterling, Cucurella, Fofana, Auba Transfers this season under Potter: Badiashile, Mudryk, Joao Felix, Madueke, Fofana Its early on but Potter is way clear in terms of transfer targets. Tuchel makes his teams worse by his this stupid decisions on the transfer market.
  14. 2 clean sheets in a row, something we havent seen since october.
  15. I remember someone saying he used to do that a lot at the Dodgers when he was confirmed as our new owner, but I dunno if true.
  16. Maybe they are not. We cant know yet. But what we know is that the likes of Pulisic or Ziyech definitely arent world beaters. So keeping them or not trying to replace them would just prolong our pain. And yes, midfield is still a problem. But we will address this, either now or in summer. Enzo or/and Caicedo will be ours before next season starts.
  17. So we shouldnt strengthen our squad bc we have so much deadwood? Wont get us forward at all. Isnt Boehly famous for just terminating player contracts and just paying them off? 😂
  18. City is shit this season. Maybe Haaland really made them worse despite scoring so many goals.
  19. In the long term. This is a long term project with the goal to be champion within the next 3-4 years.
  20. Cant even be good for Leverkusen. No option for a club like Chelsea.
  21. No they are not gone but a club that has ambition to be champion again cant rely on these kind of players. These are squad players, nothing more. So yea, Mudryk, Madueke, Sterling as starters and Puli and Ziyech as back up if we cant get rid of them.
  22. Spending on wingers made absolutely sense. With Pulisic and Ziyech hopefully gone, we would only have Sterling as a winger.
