Yeah, but since TT was sacked. Definitely can recommend this lifestyle.
-
Escort him out now please, don't wait until full time.
-
Actually, I like it. If we can't play well, prime shithouse is the next best thing. Willian with a goal (wtf he is even doing there), Felix red card in debut, Koulibally pushing the ball into goal because we can't score for shit, Potter hopefully gone by end of week, at least there's a reason to turn on TV.
-
What the hell is even going on there 😂 They should play Benny Hill theme at the stadium
-
Who wouldn't, lol I'm all in for minimizing damage, let alone if it's Auba's fault or lack of service to him, but they must be taking a piss. Better get busy selling rights to 1/43rd of their logo to Chinese developer for 45 years or shut up.

Pity for this guy, the tackle was not even looking that bad… What leads me, once again, to think that maybe someone would have to look into training plans.
-
Good luck to him, if he want to make a name for himself here, then it's a win-win, because he will work extra hard. Only this pricetag…
-
Atleti fans claim each Felix's goal had cost them 2.4 mil euro, hope it will come cheaper for us. Btw, funnily enough Felix was claimed football god after 6 months in Benfica before he flopped after getting big move, so genuinely interested what he will show here.
-
It was rumored TB was very eager to bring him in soon after takeover but it was blocked by TT. I thought it was ridiculous, but now I believe TB could really see him more as a stop-gap filler than marketing asset.
-
I do believe Ronaldo could be much closer than we all think
-
Apart from fact we still know nothing about what happened, I wonder what "burning bridge" with Benfica would be supposed to cause - we are not getting players for reduced price solely because someone likes our owner and club will not sell to anyone except highest bidder just for giggles (except maybe they respect player enough to let him choose, but again, clubs relation hardly matters in this case). Can't see much more serious implications, than not playing friendly games with them next season, lol. Btw yeah, maybe club made a huge mistake, but that's a prime example of business risk that TB surely calculated. Not that I'm big fan of him, but I doubt he is an idiot in terms of doing business. Anyway I will laugh so hard if Enzo disappears in the span of next 10 months as I can't remember this board going so mental about player based on such a lousy evidence. Well, maybe the previous Raphinia craze, lol.

Dunno how GB law works, but in most jurisdictions streaming as in broadcasting is the problem, no one will bother with looking for a guys who watched some shady footy with Serbian commentary
-
IF we are going to play the same way with same people, I'd much rather see us lose again, than slide with lucky 1:0. Sick of excuses and smoke screens, if anything is about to change, exposing Potter and our core players is the first step into that direction.
-
It looks like some part of our business is bit forced to make fans happy with extraordinary level activity, not so much for quality of it, unfortunately; There is small minority of reasonable people, compared to entire fanbase, who would have zero problem with not buying anyone when no good target available, which sounds like an obvious thing. There would be massive outcry for TB "not doing anything" and "failing in the market" - just look what happens now, it would be 10 times worse.
-
Of course, but that is not where my point was; I would name CL triumph "marginal", but anyway - Potter wouldn't have it easy in most of top-half of PL teams, especially with our players, who have history of not quite respecting even elite managers. This is relation of simple hierarchy, so what was expected with throwing Potter there? Especially that he isn't gifted with much of charisma. This could be seen from far away and we aren't really binning our key players anytime soon. I also wonder how this turning against TT is actually overblown - our typical level of apathy is not quite what revolting against Conte and FL was; Was there really that much drama, except for Pulisic's father moaning around?
-
The famous and proven philosophy of YOLO, until FFP gets us, at least.
-
"Before he went to Atletico" may be a key here. Like with boatloads of those loud players, who proved mediocre at best after getting their big move. After all it comes down to the fact we already have players of similar profiles, it's not most burning hole to plug + he is just expensive to have for 6 months
-
I may be somewhat toxic Chelsea fan myself, but I don't really know what should I make out of his statement. Doubt there was some dressing room abuse, as most players seemed genuinely surprised and upset with his sacking. Frictions with Boehly wouldn't be surprising from TT and TB actually explained his sacking with some form of it. I doubt TT was stealing staples and toilet paper from the club, but if there was some moral/discipline stuff going on, he already said too much, because "I know something and I'm saying this, but ask Boehly if he wants to speak about it" is bit of internally contradictive statement. Otherwise seems like talking for sake of talking.
-
We certainly do have some attitude problem in the dressing room, but on the other hand… There's a comedic imbalance there. People can bash our players all they want, but a lot of people in this group have all the silverware in existence in their cabinets. They can be professional and civil enough not to revolt against Potter from the get go, but it's hard to convince those players to follow someone who is pretty much random Joe from their perspective. To make things worse, Potter, contrary to what he claims, doesn't really have anything to back himself with and so far isn't really looking like some tv wonderkid genius, who is defeating the system. He just seems painfully out of his place there. This is exactly the situation why big corporations are becoming toxic workplaces and talented people are performing way below their means. It was a very faithful/naive and bold move from TB, but I don't really see a possibility that some productive fire will start here. And I really doubt that throwing our heritage to the gutter and starting the team from scratch with youth and potential relegation battle helps. Yeah, we will spend years to become Brighton level and then what? We have to step up anyway, so it's pretty much long way to the point we are in now anyway. We, are on the level one should only move forward, not backwards.
-
Putting aside children, furious with TB not buying their favorite FIFA players and the new wave of good weather fans, I think people are upset with the fact that TB was bought by fans by promising thoughtful vision, something we lacked very had late-Roman, meanwhile the transfer business is just as all over the place mess as it was, just more expensive and no sign of some coherent vision, add Potter with also apparently no particular vision and here we are. TB promised to deliver the smartness and effectiveness we all craved, so far all but it. This is even worse kind of people than Twitter attention seekers; Either say what you know or say nothing.
-
Yeah, but it's not like he is desperately looking for a way out of Atleti because he is at his prime… This really have Saul written all over it. And I remember the analysis that pointed he is falling apart with Simeone because he is not doing well in rigid system where he has to defend, so… ehrm, not quite what we need from player I guess. We already tried to integrate player outside the tactics in form of Lukkaku…
-
Yeah, paying big time for third fourth best choice for positions we have already covered doesn't really sound like very new way of doing transfer business here
-
Getting tired of this sentiment. Why would we write the season off? What kind of mentality is this? We are not "transitioning" as to transition means to go somewhere, meanwhile we have exactly the same mess of club structure and exactly the same headless mix of pointless transfer business, except even more expensive + clueless managerial change, so where is it supposedly going? Any picture of cohesive team is looming from behind this? Time to admit someone had effed up big time instead covering it with "transitioning" all the time
-
I doubt it's that easy. The very moment dressing room revolts against him he is done and we have first signs of it already. Let alone the fact I doubt he ever got the dressing room behind him in the first place. You cannot be a manager for years if players are against you (and we are not having 23 new men in january, so there is that)

It almost feels like Boehly is looking for least attractive deal possible and jumping on it. Somehow not burned 120 million on some one-hit wonder, so time to jump onto Felix, who is pretty much copy of Havertz, except also suffering like Saul. Other clubs laughed off the offer to loan him, so obviously we are all over it! But yeah, strikerless formation with 2 suffering false 9's is gonna be some seriously avant-garde shit for sure.
