  1. Yeah, he was pretty average, and missed at least 6 passes.
  2. Fabregas? I think we are watching differente games.
  3. Impressive how the team has no organization going forward. William had the ball, we had 3 players in the middle of the box close to each other for no good reason.
  4. Team still look incredibly weak at the defense.
  5. Great 1st half, but Frabregas and specially Costa tho...
  6. Actually Mourinho has always been pretty outspoken about transfers. Back in 2007 they came up with is famous eggs and omeletes sentence. 2014 he was complaining about the lack of a top striker. If you read the Emelano interview, he also said the club believe this players can turn things around and in the "official" vote of confidence the club made it clear: Mourinho has the right players to turn thing around. Really doubt there will be big transfers in the january market.
  7. According to Emelano, Guus Hiddink aside, the board always wanted to keep managers for the the long term, so they were actually thinking about giving Benitez the job?
  8. What about Mourinho's Chelsea that just got out playing against inferior oppoents in CL, at home, for two years in a row? Okay, someone will say Atletico's squad was sooo much better, thats why they easily won, 3-1, at Stamford Bridge, and of course PSG was also miles better, thats why they managed to get the result they needed even if they were down to 10 men for most part of the game. But actually you have a point, Guardiola tatics with Bayern are looking a bit suicidal at times.
  9. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3312237/Chelsea-s-disastrous-start-shock-season-Sportsmail-reporters-explain-tipped-Jose-Mourinho-s-retain-title.html Pundits explaining why they tipped Chelsea to win the PL again. Most of them now believe the team will finish in 5th or 6th. Those guys were a joke to tip Chelsea to win it again this season.
  10. Just imagined that. At this point Modric would be considered one of those players who must raise his game and is not playing as he was supposed to. Really laughable you think Oscar and Ramires the problem, when Oscar is barely starting games and Jose tried every mid configuration available, and football is shit, not matter what.
  11. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/managers/jose-mourinho/11982633/Chelseas-disastrous-season-could-cost-Roman-Abramovich-100m-if-he-sacks-manager-Jose-Mourinho.html Interesting points: -If Mourinho is fired he has two options: accept an immediate pay-out (10m), or not working untill 2019 and getting full value of his contract. Now the contract extension makes sense, since its pretty obvious if Mourinho is fired now or at the end of the season, he will accept 10m, rather than staying 3 years out of football. -Failure to qualify for the Champions League is estimated to cost clubs at least £40 million. -Simeone Atlético Madrid buy-out clause is set at £15 million. - Pep Guardiola remains Abramovich’s ideal successor to Mourinho and independent intermediaries have attempted to find out whether the Spaniard would consider a move to Stamford Bridge.
  12. Awesome british post punk album cover.
  13. To be honest I think in all the 7 defeats this season, during match thread, people who are here saying we played a good match yesteday were alwasy saying "brilliant football" before the opponent started scoring goals. Football yesteday was pretty bad. For the 1st half the team played a decent football, but not for a team that is 16th in the table. Team lacked urgency and intensity, when you are in this situation you MUST win, its not like the team is sitting confortably on top of the word. Imagine you are playing a UCL semi-final, and just lost the first game and must win the match, thats not the kind of football you are expected to play. Second half Stoke scored early. Team kept playing that lazy football, like they were winning the game. Only after 20 minutes into the second half, when Fabregas and Oscar, and later Remy, were introduced, the team started to really press Stoke, but anyone who can read the game understand the guys were playing with zero tactical plan. What we saw was Fabregas, William and specially Hazard trying to save the game by their own. Team pressed the panic button, and adopted a high pressure defensive style and Stoke couldn't create anything. The team almost scored, but the best chances were created when the team were playing without tactics and discipline, it was just a bunch of good footballers trying to score a goal. I asked myself why the team can't start the game doing high pressure and huge intensity. A team like Stoke would suffer a lot playing against a side playing like that. What we saw yesterday has been happening since 2013, team start slow, lacks intensity, and when realize they MUST score a goal there is no tactical plan at all, just pressing random button, think about that PSG game when Mourinho introduced Torres, Etoo, Ba at the same time, and few were created from that, but its not always that you get a lucky goal like that. To be honest football from yesterday was pretty much the same as what we saw during many matches last season, but there is a big difference: last season the team was top of the league because of individual brilliance coming from attacking players, specially Hazard, who won at least 15 points by his own, but this season his football became pretty awful, despite what many people are saying, he was really really really nad yesterday. Yesterday he was actually trying and trying to do something, unlike other games were he was hidding, but at the end of the day he was creating few chances and making terrible decisions and killing attacking options, and was trying to play alone in the last minutes. Perhaps people in this forum who are stunned about the current situation should go back in this thread, because since months ago many members here pointed about the problems in this teams, but many just dismissed those complains and were changing the name of this topic to "Moaning Thread", or pointing the team was top of the league. Success is dangerous because it usually makes you hide your problems. For a long term success you must keep changing, but the moment the manager believes there is nothing to learn from others.
  14. The right time to sack Mourinho is at the end of the season, unless this board believe the team will get a top 4 finish. This team won't finish in the top 4, and the squad is not good enough to even think about winning the UCL, so I don't think there is a guy available that would manage to win the UCL or get a top 4 finish in the PL, so there is little reason to fire Jose at this moment. Keeping him untill the end of the season will also send a message: the club supported him the whole season, even in the worst moments, but its not working anymore. If Mourinho is fired now, many people will say that was unfair and he still was going to get this team to a top 4 finish or it was only a bad run.
  15. Come one, we all know that is never happening.
  16. I still voted "no", but at this point no one can fix this damage, so sacking him tomorrow won't help anything, but he still must leave at the end of the season. He is responsible for the current unbalanced and weak squad, and perhaps another manager doesn't deserve this calvary. Best time to sack him and bring another manager is at the end of the season, that will avoid the negative talk in the press impacting the perforances "Chelsea are bad guys because are firing managers again", and will also avoid another Rafael Benitez like appointment.
  17. If he is going anywhere, really doubt its related to "fan support the other night". Fans are not spending up to 10m a year with Jose Mourinho, so its easy to chant is name right after the team score a goal, or at the end of the game when the team is winning. Instead of chanting "Jose Mourinho", at the end of Liverpool game the stadium was going home before the final whistle.
  18. That was supposed to be an amazing goal.
  19. Now thats just random football.
  20. No tactics at all, team just pressed the panic button.
  21. WTF? MAKE SOME CHANGE, NOW!!!!
  22. Why taking too long for a sub?
