Benitez tested Marin alongside Hazard, Mata and Torres. Mikel was tested with Ramires and Lampard. Luiz back to CB, and Ivanovic to RB. I dont see Marin starting this, I think he will come as a sub in the second half.

I respect RDM, but there is a huge diffrence between Benitez and RDM in terms of management skills.

Dude, Corinthians won Libertadores against Boca Junior. The argentinian side were a very old team, with few class players. Their better player was a fading Riquelme. In Brazil is not a surprise to see a team like Corinthians losing or getting one single point when they play against sides like Figueirense. Al Ahly is like Figueirense, its really common to see a team like Corinthians suffering like they did in this semi finals when they face sides like Bahia, Figueirense and Sport. Even Flumiense had a tought game against a Palmeiras side full of problems and many players injured, as I said before, this Corinthians is squad is far from superb, I dont see a huge difference between Cortinhians and Palmeiras squad, the diffrence in their manager. Corinthians have good tactics, and they also have a long term project with Tite, but this kind of thing doesnt happen so often in Brazil, so it make Corinthians look like much better than they really are. Listen, days ago the brazilian press was saying that Corinthians was the favourite for this tournament, and that it will be a surprise to see Al Aly winning, but it wont be a surprise if Monterey was going to the finals. After the semi finals these guys are quite, because its clear that theres is a HUGE difference in class between Chelsea and Corinthians. Now the talk in Brazil is: Chelsea is much better, but Corinthians can win it. I was watching a program in Sportv today, and they were rating Chelseas and Corinthians players, while they were right when they said in 9 positions Chelsea had the best players, for these guys, Cech aside, the best players from Chelsea were Oscar, Ramires and Luiz. Luiz and Ramires got a 8.2, Oscar a incredible 8.9, while Mata got 8.0. These only shows how biased are brazilians towards anything related with brazillian football. Even when they say Messi is better than Neymar, they also have to point: "Neymar is younger, Messi is more experienced". Last year many people in Brazil really believed Santos could beat Barcelona, and that there wasnt a huge difference between both sides. Well...

Nah, Scolari will use Luiz as a CB, not matter he positiont he plays for Chelsea. We have many cases in the past where players were playing as DM in their clubs and as a CB in NT, just like Edmilson, that used to play as a DM in many ocasions in europeans clubs, but was a CB in 2002 WC, when Scolari was the manager. Mascherano play some games as a CB for Barcelona, but in Argentina he is not even considered for that position. I really dont know what you are talking about, dude, this talk about trasnfer resquest is really nonsense.
-
lol I'm sure David is not the kind o player that would request a transfer because of this.
-
Not sure Luiz will start as a DM again. Azi wasnt that goodmtiday in defence, Ivanovic to other side is terrible this season as a RB.
-
You are the one underating Reading. If both teams play, I'm sure that would be an equal match. Top brazilian teams would get a 10th position in PL, in most optimistic scenario. I'm the one telling the truth.
-
Dont get me wrong, we have guy from Corinthians in this forum and you came to support him, saying their have a good team.I cant stand this, not right now. Corinthians is shit, and will always be.
-
You never met me. I never said Palmeiras ashames me. Felipão is shit, and I really mean it, one year ago I said Palmeiras was going to 2nd division under Felipão. He was good 10 years ago, right now he is shit. What Barcos has to do with this subject? Chelsea can lose it, but it has nothing to do with Corinthians being a very good team, its more like Chelsea being in a transition period than anything, if it was Chelsea from 2 or 3 years ago, it would be embarrasing. You said "SHUT UP", I take that as a insult, a huge insult.
-
SHUT UP YOU, IDIOT. (Never mess with Henrique) You are wearing a this avatar but you are licking the balls of these stupid team, you are a disgrace. Only a fool would be blind to no realize how shit is brazilian teams compared with european clubs. Everybody that watched their game, will realize that this team is slow and far from being very good. Corinthians had a big chance? Even Internacional won it against Barcelona, and Gabirú scored the winner, and he is playing in brazilian 3rd division right now, AND because Chelsea was in a transition time. This tournament is really shit. Every single game was awful, both semi-finals were a disgrace for a tournament that is supposed to be (for brazilians) the highest prize in football. I really dont know why you are so excited about this. Yes, Corinthians beating Chelsea is just like Reading doing the same.
-
Fuck off globoesporte. Official line-up is there: Oscar is starting.
-
Talking about facts. Swansea is a good team, and Corinthians is in this level. Your team have Danilo, Douglas, Emerson and Guerrero brother, its all about tactics.
-
Corinthians is god, just like a mid table team from PL, like Reading and Swansea. Corinthians is far from being one of the best teams in the world. Corinthians is winning things in Brazil and SA because he is one of the few teams that have a good manager, with decent tactics. Corinthias or Monterey can win it? yes, even West Browinch and West Ham won matches against Chelsea this season. Are they one of the best teams in the world? No, they arent. This tournament wont be a huge thing untill we have shit games like that. It was a semi-final, and a shit game.
-
Same here, matches against Atletico and Shaktar were worrying.
-
LMAO These guys from corinthians are disgusting.
-
Look at Benitez: "Finally I'm in a place where the fans are not calling for my head".
-
I think you are 100% right about almost everything you said in this topic. This competition is much more important for brazilian clubs, and clubs from Mexico, Africa or Asia, because their competitions dont have the prestige that Premier League or Champions League have. For a brazilian club is really nice to play against players like Messi, Xavi and Iniesta, even in the past when brazilian clubs were great in terms of players, it was like "we are the poor guys, lets show these rich european clubs that we are the best in the world". About the supporters, I also understand you. Well, its like for example NBA, I might watch it and like clubs like Boston, Knicks, Bulls, Lakers, buy stuff from these guys, but its really different from a guy that every week is the arena for years. As much as like Chelsea, and watch 90% of the games of the season, I know its totally different experience from people like @zolayes, people that knows what being a London club is about, as you said. Well, to other side I dont see the point of you coming here, a forum that is full of international fans to say: "I dont care about the competition, because I'm british, and british just dont care about it", because you know, Chelsea is a global brand, and it really doesnt matter if people from other countries dont know whats Chelsea's soul. Let these people enjoy the tournament, they know Champions League and Premier League is what really matters, they just want to have fun.

Monterey is way better than Nord.

Dude, I think this Leeds game will be postponed, because we play december 16 in Japan, no way we will play another game in England 3 days later.
-
Lampard and Bertrand can do the job.
-
There was a win days ago, and it was 6-1.
