  1. Hey, is Torres playing? I think I heard his name one single time during the whole match.
  2. That was close. Great shoot by David.
  3. Lampard staying would be a good thingm but I dont see any problem if he leaves. Well, Italy example doesnt matter here, all these players are still in top clubs not because they are legends, but because the clubs dont have the money, so its better for them to stick with the old guard than going to market and buying new players. Lampard has one of the highest wages in the club, and he cant get the same amount of money if he is going to be a good squad player, as it seems.
  4. There were people saying Falcao wasnt the right player, and now there are people even debating if getting Villa on loan (he will play no more than 5 months, since in May the season is almost over) will be a good thing to do. I mean, Chelsea wont spend much more than 2m with his wages, for this price its just stupid to question if he is too old, if he is not big enough or if he can play 90 minutes, when we are talking about a player of his qualities. For me this is the perfect deal: you get a good player to solve the lack of attacking options, and thats for free, and in summer the club and the manager (Rafa or anyone else) will have time enough to make the best deal.
  5. He wont leave in january, but the club wont renew his contract. Not sure if thats wrong.
  6. It doesnt matter the reasons, they all failed. I really dont see De Bruyne or Lukaku making it here. Guess who was the first player from academy to get regular first team football: Bertrand. With a player like Piazon shoud be like this: you are our player, and slowly tou will get more action. Enough of these stupid loans. De Bruyne's case is little different, because they left him where he already was, but when a player is starting to get some minutes in the first team you loan him. Its really, really, stupid. Messi arrived in Barcelona when he was really young, and he only got cameos when Ronaldinho was the man and there was no room for loans.
  7. Not sure, in Italy they dont loan their players. If you are a 18 years with a lot of talent you stay there 2 years playing few games each season, untill you are ready for more playing time. Piazon knows the players and the club philosophy, and that will improve if he stays as a Chelsea player. Dont you realize that these "lets loan them, then get back when they are ready" just dont work? Since the club started it years, give me one single example that caught on. Di Santo, Stoch, Sturridge, Kakuta...with De Bruyne, Lukaku, Josh, all of them set to follow the same pattern.
  8. Is Michu any good? Realized that he is PL current top goal scorer.
  9. Didier was our main striker and barely scored more than 16 a season, so having a guy who would score 25 would be great.
  10. Perhaps not to the most part of the people.
  11. Injured or not he was an investment, and this "injured" argument is not totally true, because in 07/08 season he played 32 games, last season 35 and the other 6 he played more than 40. wich means he was injured in some games, yes, but the number of games he played is almost the same as any other striker in same period. Didier was a great player, despite his lack of goals in most part of the seasons, so I really dont know how can someone say a striker that would scored no more than 25 is not worth 48m.
  12. so Didier was voted the greatest player ever means everybody have the same opnion about him?
  13. I respect some opnions, but for me its really strange how some people are reacting to this. I mean, when Lukaku was signed, I was one of the few people that said 18m for a 18 years old coming from belgian league was too much. Now people are even talking about Lewandovsky, a player that was never linked with Chelsea. If Falcao was european, I'm sure a lot of people here saying he is way too expensive would be saying different. I remember there was a talk some time ago in Cavani topic from a guy coming from one of these east european countries, and he said Chelsea shouldnt buy more latino players, later he tried to explain himself and he said the reason was he didnt like Cavani's face because he looked like a barbarian or something like that. No doubt why racism is a huge issue in those lands.
  14. It seems its a done deal. wich means we are going to buy a new striker in January, or that people running the club are stupid enough to let the squad with one single striker for the rest of the season, and the fact this striker is Torres make would make it even more embarrasssing.
  15. No one is thinking that only Falcao is the right man, but you are suggesting that the squad is so good to create chances, that only a decent striker better than Torres would do the job. Sturridge was also considered this decent striker we needed, but when he played as CF he was a shit as Torres if not worst. Well, you dont think EL finals are big games, but how can Falcao be scoring goals and winning big matches when he never played in UCL? And yes, as said before, only a retard would buy a striker thinking about how good he would play as a CB or as LB. So we have to buy a cheap striker, because a cheap and decent striker is good enough for Chelsea. Well, a team full of young players with no balls and a "cheap" striker up front. New Arsenal or what?
  16. Did you know that Dider scored more than 16 goals only in 2 seasons during his 8 years at Chelsea? and I'm not talking about PL goals, I'm talkin about the goals in all competitions combined. Thats right, in the other 6 seasons he never scored more than 16 goals.
  17. I know that much about Ibra, he might have the skills, it takes a train to make you a great footballer, not only skills and great goals, and about you, you are one guy who believes Zlatan is really great, even talking about him in a poetic.
  18. LMAO. In fact I think you are Ibrahimovic himself, because no one in the world believes Ibrahimovic is that good, but Ibra. In fact Zlatan is the greatest asshole ever to grace in football world. Yes, Falcao will never be like Ibra, because no player in the world will ever be that overrated. The swedish was a dominant figure during the years of the decadence of Seria A. Then he went to Barcelona, where he was no more than a shy character (even Pedro scored more goals than him). Then he went back to Seria A, even more decadent at that time. Now 31 years old he is playing in French League, 5th in UEFA ranking. I think you used to play a lot of PES during the PS2 era...
