It was pretty funny people putting Marin in their starting XI in pre-season.

Not sure what people are thinking right now after his poor match against the worst team in the league. Lampard is not a consistent player since 09/10 season. I dont agree with the argument we need Lampard to teach the younger players. The squad right now has a gap, between a bunch of U-23 players and some players in his 30. We need some players that are in their prime, 25 to 30 years old.

Something went wrong! yeah, Benitez tactics is what went wrong, it seems he believes League Cup and FA Cup are the real deal, so when the team cant afford to lose points, he starts Marin, Moses and Oscar together for the first time.This is Benitez, a manager that can build some solid teams, but always come with some kind of brainless decisions. I remember back in 08/09 season when Liverpool had two 0-0 results against Stoke, and that was crucial in their attempt to win PL after so many years. For me this is enough, we cant afford to extend Benitez regime beyond summer. First was CWC, now this game against QPR. Marin was easily one of our best player in the second half, but Marin left the game while Moses stayed there untill the final minutes.

It hurts Benitez to replace Moses, thats why he waited this long for that.

Oscar and Moses by far the worst players. Both were supposed to create something, but there was nothing. Marin almost fucked everything, that should be a red, I'm surprised that no one here is saying so, I imagine the reactions if Luiz was the one making such a horror foul. Luiz is having a decent game, and so is Lampard, but I really dont see us winning this match with Oscar, Marin and Moses.

A owner can buy a small club and invest in the academy or in a new stadium. Investments in academy or in the club structure does not count in FFP. In fact Roman is part of the process where football will become a matter of wich club have the richest owner. Thats why I believe FFP might work.

Dont think there is a saga. Its clear he will leave in summer. Lampard has one of the highest wages in Chelsea, it was the same reason Ballack and J.Cole left 2 seasons ago: the club want to control the wage bill. This year Chelsea had the highest wage bill in PL for 8 years in a row.With the arriving of players like Hazard, who earns 170k a week (and thats really stupid to pay such money for a prospect), I really dont see Lampard getting a new contract with new FF from UEFA.

It was funny some months ago, people really believed Lampard wasnt needed anymore, and some people even said that the scenario would be worst with him, while we had 7 games in a row without a single win.
