There are several articles about how Conte has improved his hold up play by having him do drills everyday. His first touch is still not one of control so Conte has him redirect the ball and chase it. I guess if he has a brick touch, learn to play off that brick touch. He looks much better with his leverage amongst CB than he used to play. I do not think Conte changed his game as much as tweeked what was there.

I do not see anything wrong with the numbers? With FFP you do need to have the money coming in to balance players being bought. I do not think it is rationalizing, but rather showing that our net spend is within what is allowed. I think the Haaland comparisons are odd. We offered 130M to start negotiations and there was absolutely no interest to talk. I think our recruitment has been great the last three years. It is possible our people got a read on the Haaland situation they are not going to share. His wage demands might be something that our club will just not do.
