  1. He has been suffering for headaches in the last two training sessions.
  2. He has been fully involved in the last training season. Videos of him going hard.
  3. Please let Kante and Mount be on the field. We need their energy.
  4. BURN HIM!! He is easy to catch with the forever gimpy ankle!
  5. He might be. He was on the Jets sideline in Spurs stadium in Jets gear for the London NFL game last weekend.
  6. He is a Jets fan, that is what is wrong with him!
  7. During the International break my family watched season one of Ted Lasso on Apple. I am jonsing so bad for a real match!! I mean I watched the USA WC qualifiers, but our head coach is soo bad even the wins get me angry with his bizarre starting XI.
  8. I have no idea how they calculate it now? However they do, I think PSG and City proves wages are not in the calculation.
  9. This is just fun conspiracy theory time. It is possible, but ridiculously unlikely, that Newcastle could buy some good near top tier players in January. Then in the summer, with his buy out clause, get Haaland and pay him PSG wages or higher and still be within FFP. Ahhhhhh it is fun to put the tin foil hat on for a second.
  10. For the last month or so, Chelsea have firmly been thrown into the mix for Aurélien Tchouaméni, currently enjoying the time of his life at AS Monaco and with the France national team. Excelling in the 2-1 win over Spain in the UEFA Nations League final, the midfielder showcased exactly why the Blues, alongside many other European sides, are interested in his services either in January or next summer. Juventus are the ones seemingly pushing for a deal sooner rather than later, with Tuttosport constantly reminding their readers of the competition and how the Serie A side are trying to get ahead of it. They mention Chelsea once again in their article on Wednesday, explaining that after the Blues and Liverpool, it’s Real Madrid’s turn to join the fray, wanting to create a midfield pairing of Eduardo Camavinga and Tchouaméni in the long run. They aren’t the only ones claiming Thomas Tuchel’s side want the AS Monaco starlet either, as Le Parisien state the London side are ‘attentive’ to the player, who many see as mature beyond his years. The French newspaper interview a few people about him, including Jean-Luc Dogon, who trained him with the U17s and U19s at Bordeaux. He said: “He prepares, analyses and anticipates everything. As a teenager, he was already looking to understand everything at training. He plans things and never leaves anything to chance. He’s a hard worker. He never panics and manages his emotions”. All that has allowed him to be where he is today, which isn’t quite on top of the world, but he’s getting awfully close to reaching a level where few will be able to ignore him. http://sportwitness.co.uk/never-panics-Chelsea-interest-hard-worker-continues-tuchel-co-attentive-situation/
  11. The whining there is pretty pathetic. At the root of it is not a moral high ground, but fear that another club will attain the buying power they have for players.
  12. Sky Sports is usually all fluff. But they had a few guests that made this chat about what we can expect going forward with Newcastle. It was pretty grounded in how adding players and a new manager can lead to failure if you are getting people that just want the money. Interesting the people involved all agreed it will take years if they go about it to build a top team. Some saying with what Newcastle has currently, it could be closer to 10 year than 5.
  13. The refs have a union. The NFL and the union do a weekly review to make sure referees did not give the appearance of calls influencing the outcomes of games. Making sure refs were not taking money to favor a team. Both the union and the NFL will release a ref immediately if they have too many blown calls. Anthony Taylor would have been fired long ago. He is soo bad, and his blown calls usually favor the weaker team… it makes you wonder if he is getting some money from bookies.
  14. It sounds like one man knows he fucked up, and one man has moved on and is very happy with the way things happened.
  15. So what happened to all the money that was collected on the Go Fund Me to ban Anthony Taylor? Someone made a quick 20K?
  16. Bruce should stay for his buy out. That is walking around money for the owners.
  17. Romelu Lukaku has left the Belgium squad due to "muscle fatigue", says head coach Roberto Martinez.
  18. He was the one of the best 9 options available. I think having him makes Tuchel really put some attention on how to make it work, which keeps him focused on us scoring. Had we gone with the same players from last year, Tuchel's solution may have been for us to play even more defensively. I hope Tuchel can play to his strengths and minimize his weaknesses. The thing that does get to me a little is his total lack of pressing. I don't know if he thinks he is doing it and just incapable, or if he is just not giving the effort? In the end he is our 9 and we do not have a second option, unless Werner starts ripping the back of the net game after game. I do believe we can grind it out and stay at the top contending for the title. We have great depth and a manager who is willing to trust that depth and rotate.
  19. "Regularly" means high wage players. It will be interesting to see how they get around whatever FFP is these days. I have read that the high ticket sales that Newcastle has will help them ramp up their spending. I do not really understand how that correlates with FFP but it has been mention quite often in the past two days. What is it with attendance and ticket sales that boosts how much you can spend?
