Wouldn't include Martial in there because he has top ability, just being massively wasted at United and Jose the Youth killer. In fact, I'd take him at CFC, would be fantastic with Hazard. But yeah, agree with the rest of your post fully.
Consistent in that he pulls off solid performances usually, i.e. 7/10s. Costa and Eden have had higher peaks this season. For me, Kante has been as good as Luiz ergo - quite good but not most important cog in the team. He has been good though.
Chelsea struggle a lot with CFs, it's quite sad. We're still waiting for the day where we can have 09/10 Drogba up front every season. Even Didier was very inconsistent. You're right, I genuinely can't think of a fully consistent striker in the Roman Era. What a shame.
The same Spurs that finished 3rd in a 2 horse race. I think you're overrating them slightly. They have a nice fixture list but as we've seen, anything can happen in the PL, and they are also without Harry Kane so... chill.
City are 9 points behind us if they beat Arsenal tomorrow, so not really correct. Plus, you're skewing it completely. Ok, we have a game after them but nobody really counts points before a game week is over.
He was MOTM against Stoke just before the international break imo. Don't forget.
Probably his worst game this season though. He'll pick it up, he usually does well in big games.
Perhaps, but he isn't number 1. In my opinion Hazard, Courtois and Costa (due to his first half of the season where he was almost unplayable) have been better for us.
He's quite useless in games like today tbh.
We can't lose against City. A draw will be fine. If we lose, the pressure is on big time. Hence why today's win was so important. So disappointed in Costa who didn't feel like playing until maybe like the last 20/30 minutes. Awful performance from him.
