He could easily be a starter in a 352. Contrary to what many think on here, I think he'd make a great regista.

I genuinely think that Benzema needs a fresh start, and a new environment. He's not having a great season so it's easy to bash him, but the talent is clearly still there. He still has Lyon Benzema in him - like you said, he's a foil for CR7 so he isn't used to his maximum abilities. There's a genuine reason why Morata hasn't taken over his spot at CF. I mean, he offers some of Benzema's technical quality but he hasn't shown that he's capable of leading the line like Benzema does. Even at Juventus he was never a starter - he can't be a focal point in a line up. Even Mandzukic was preferred to him as the main CF. I understand why people don't rate Benzema as much as I do though, but it's a matter of opinion. To me, he's just in an unfavourable situation.

I don't think so. Morata cannot lead the line anywhere near as well as Benzema does. If Benzema was available this summer I would look at him - the link up play between him and Eden would be something else.

Watch the North London derby and look how creative Wanyama was on top of his usual strong presence in midfield. Don't remember the last time Matic dominated a game like that for us.

Wanyama has improved a lot technically under Pochettino. Always showed flashes of technical quality but was lacking that edge - seems to have developed that under Mauricio now. Top player. Love massive athletic midfielders with good technical quality tbh.

He's certainly earned his bread this season. I can't hate on him at all anymore. I've accepted his limitations, and he's come up big several times this season. He's not done the captain's armband shame this season, and that's all I can ask for tbh. Deserves to lift trophies with JT at the end of the season.

What a winner. You can tell that he was part of one of the greatest teams in football history. Superb season, coming up with huge goals everywhere.

Not to mention they've only lost once this season at home before today (1-0 vs. Liverpool). Controlled the game completely, could've easily been another 4/5 goal victory if we had our shooting boots on today. Honestly, don't forget the Costa chance and the Hazard chance in the first half. If one of those go in the game opens up much more.
