  1. You would want an upgrade on Cuadrado no? Or are you happy for him to be a starter?
  2. Conte can really prolong his career at the top level I think. Look what he did with Pirlo. He can still do more, he's matured very well as a guy... and like you said who knows? He could have a fantastic 3-5 years - let's say he wins the CL, some other cups and a league or two more here - if that's the case he can truly be remembered as a great.
  3. Remember this... PS - our away kit this season was incredibly sexy.
  4. They just did a 343 against Monaco though... Completely controlled the game.
  5. This is the other line of thinking Cesc could have, but from what we've seen it looks like he values trophies a lot. He still has a big, big role to play here. Don't forget - he hasn't won the CL yet. He has a chance to do so at CFC - he knows we need to improve the squad for that to happen which it looks like we will. He said this 2 years ago: If he still has the same ambitions, staying here is the best option for him IMO. Where else will he go? Real have Kroos, he won't go back to Barcelona, Juventus have a top playmaker in Pjanic, Bayern have plenty in midfield... PSG has Verratti. CFC is genuinely his best chance.
  6. It's tough. He could leave, to lets say AC Milan, but they're still just starting a new project. He'd have to wait/toil before AC Milan consistently challenge for trophies like we do. He's 30 now - he'll want to win as many trophies as he can before he ensues into garbage time. He could stay in a competitive squad at CFC, challenge for trophies consistently whilst being a pretty decisive player. The thing about Cesc, not many in the world can do what he does. His skillset is very unique, so it'd be difficult to replace him. Early indications show that he and Conte have a mutual respect for each other, and he seems to be a fantastic professional who understands that it's a squad game and sometimes you can't play, but who knows what he truly thinks? I think the best thing for him to do is to stay here as the '6th man' if I may borrow the NBA term. He can become part of a fantastic Chelsea project, and genuinely write his name in the history books here if he wants, because no matter how many midfielders we bring in - unless its someone like Verratti or Thiago for example - he will always have a place.
  7. I could see him doing really well in the Pedro role (essentially a second striker, which is exactly what Kylian is). Mbappe has surpassed Michy already - Michy didn't win the title at Marseille, nor went to the Semis in the CL.
  8. IMO, for this team and Conte's system, Lukaku is a much better fit because he has so much more of a presence than Morata. It's almost like for like swap with Costa. Lukaku would've scored a hattrick at least vs. Boro yesterday.
  9. Real have played 442 often this season too - can easily see a Mbappe - Ronaldo strike force. Quite poetic in a sense - Kylian gets to play up front with his idol. He's not going to be an undisputed starter - that's unrealistic, so no worries regarding Bale. It's good for his development to have competition like Bale, Asensio, Benzema etc., as long as he gets a decent amount of game time. Benzema and Ronaldo will be old soon, and I can honestly possibly see Bale leaving in the future - by that time Mbappe will have fully matured and be one of Real's true main men.
  10. Managed to sneak in some tickets for this one. Can't wait. We'll win it.
  11. This guy should've grabbed like 5 goals yesterday.
  12. Turns out that he's been a great signing. Very valuable player to have in your squad, I'm sure we'll find that out even more next season.
  13. I think CR7 is going to transition into a CF, so it'll be Mbappe - CR7 - Bale/Isco/whoever. Benzema will play too, so you could have CR7 - Benzema - Mbappe for example.
  14. Fabregas can play at the top level for at least 4/5 more years, would be ridiculously retarded if we sold him.
  15. My problem with Morata is that nothing in his skill set is exceptional.
  16. Haha of course. I'm just trying to get behind the logic of the trolling.
  17. Are you saying the world was so dumb that Zidane got away with winning world footballer of the year not once, not twice, but three times?
  18. Even Juve fans have come around to how average the guy is...
  19. Surprise surprise... Spurs finally hit a patch of difficult games and they lost their spirit. The cracks were evident vs. Palace - the NLD another difficult game too even though they did play well. When you have a lot of away games with difficult games sandwiched in between them it's very unrealistic to win them all. Never in doubt for me. Didn't think they'd lose today though but there we have it! There was no way they'd win the rest of their games either so I wasn't ever that worried tbh. Now, we win the title before Spurs even play next if we beat Boro and WBA. Hopefully we score lots - need to close that GD gap for the aesthetics.
  20. Rodriguez will definitely move this summer imo.
  21. I would look at Alaba because for me it looks like he needs a change of environment more so than Sandro. Might be able to prize him away from Bayern for cheaper too. Maybe £40m? Would be fair.
  22. If there's anyone from Spurs it has to be Dembele. He would be ridiculous in that Matic role. Chelsea should be killers here and take advantage of this situation. Ruthless Roman needed.
  23. Possibly. Not a bad signing. Would rather see us go for someone more naturally talented going forward like Semedo though. Our wingbacks provide a lot of our creativity.
  24. Ironically, moving to Madrid would be perfect for him. He's a shoe in to take over from CR7 gradually, honestly, it almost makes too much sense. Would also give Real less reason to sign Eden...
