Yes, football is a game but cheating like that and then celebrating is very disgusting IMO. I only used that video to display one of the many occasions he's been an absolute scumbag. I already knew he was one before that incident.

He does not because he's instructed not to. He's the holding midfielder. He certainly has the ability to carry the ball, he does it all the time for Nigeria. So it isn't a "failing".

Well, there in lies the problem then. Personally, I never expected Moses to be anything more than a good squad player, someone who could fill in when he's needed and in that sense he's performed well. Okay, in the PL he wasn't as good but he wasn't consistently picked - as mentioned before by a few members here he still stepped up when he was picked in the domestic cups and Europa League and his production out in these competitions allowed us to rest key players for the more important PL games so IMO he's been a good signing. To say he didn't contribute anything just because most of his goals and assists came out of the PL is ludicrous I think. I think he's a much better fit than Kalou for our squad as he is an actual winger - Kalou was a striker first and foremost that was forced out wide. The problem with Kalou was that he was considered a special player for the future but he just failed to live up to his hype, hence why he got loathed so often however everyone knows the Moses buy was for the squad and that's why no one gives him as much grief.

Basically running into the wide areas of the pitch to open up spaces for the whole team. He did that very well today but was isolated in the middle so he was sort of forced to in order to create spaces for his team.

Big Vic just reminding everyone what an excellent squad player he is. Great performance.

Van Bommel esque performance today. Hoping he can translate this and his form last season to the PL.

Barbara, don't forget we didn't have KDB, Lampard and Schurrle today. These three will add so much to the squad depth. Personally I think our squad is near perfect. Like I've said before on plenty occasions, Rooney and De Rossi and we're pretty much done. The latter isn't needed as much I feel but Rooney is a must in my opinion simply because he offers exactly what all of the other three strikers lack: the link up play ability to control the ball closely and bring others in to play.

Number 1 thing for me. I've been raving about this since we completed the Schwarzer, Van Ginkel and Schurrle signings. I'm delighted with the squad we have - the fact that they're so young as well and that they can only grow as a group under a world class manager is fantastic. We add Rooney to this brilliant squad and we're laughing.
