Right wing isn't his natural position... He was shoe horned in there because of Lewandowski. He's first and foremost a striker that can play out wide, not a winger that can play up front.

Suarez would also normally just get a handful of matches but this is his third offence...

Until Mikel is off, and until the Tiago transfer doesn't appear to be happening, it won't make sense to me. It's about squad balance and players knowing their roles. Pogba would have to start almost every game, so would Cesc, so would Matic. That means Ramires becomes pretty obsolete, Oscar won't play a lot of games (not going to happen IMO), Willian/Schurrle/Salah will have to fight for that RW spot... As it stands now, it doesn't really make sense. I love Pogba as a player, think he's the next best upcoming CM in the world but it won't happen IMO.

I really like Aubameyang (pronounced o-bam-meh-yang). If we're selling Lukaku he'd be an ideal second choice striker. He can also play on the wings pretty effectively. Would be a really nice signing IMO. Edit: Think a slightly faster, more versatile Remy for those who haven't seen him play.

I don't think so. I think Cesc, Matic, Ramires, MVG, Tiago(?), Mikel is more than enough for the midfield. It's balanced, buying Pogba is an overkill in the current situation. Unless someone like Oscar (so Cesc is the bonafide #10, but I really believe Mourinho wants Oscar there) or Ramires is off it doesn't make sense.

I think this as well... Obviously I would welcome the signing but I just can't see it happening tbh.

That's true. I've always been an advocate of the Shaw signing but I can't see us spending that much (wages wise too) on someone that isn't near the finished product yet. I would of course prefer Shaw but I don't mind the Luis signing because he's a top left back that can probably give us a good 3/4 years which is fine.

I agree... Zlatan, Cesc, Yaya Toure etc. all lost favour at Barcelona, doesn't mean they aren't fantastic players. One thing all of those have in common with Alexis is that they've all been restricted by the Barcelona tiki taka system. Alexis can be a 20 goal a season player but he isn't being used correctly by Barcelona IMO, just like Zlatan wasn't, Yaya wasn't, and Cesc as well. He needs to leave. And Neymar hasn't really done much in Europe yet. In European football Alexis has definitely outperformed Neymar.

He's been one of the best strikers in the league since he's gone to Liverpool, but no one really overhypes him at all. No one even calls him world class or anything... Do you even know what the meaning of overrated is? How does a mediocre player score 34 goals in 50 appearances for Liverpool? I can understand if you just don't like him as a player but calling him mediocre is just mind boggling... But sure, since you never buy him on FM he must be one of the most overrated players ever.
