  1. This is one of the greatest posts on here in a while.
  2. You do realise that profits and losses are just simply carried on from the previous years right?
  3. How have you worked that out sorry? If we're in a profit of £18.4m it means we've made £59m more from 2012/13. There's no loss at all...
  4. You do know Bale plays on the right for Real?
  5. So this is without the Luiz, Lukaku, Ba etc. deals... Very, very impressive. We're going to be caking in profits next season.
  6. Truly love Mateo but we don't need him here. Would block the path for some of our promising CMs.
  7. Can't believe some would genuinely say no to Reus at £19m because they're scared for the PL... Incredible. I wouldn't even say we're that dominant. Not our fault City keep slipping against teams they should be beating. United will be back next season with smart spending - Arsenal are still in the mix of they sort a few things out... You seriously can't rest on your laurels because you're on top. That's how decline starts.
  8. Would love to see Luis - Azpi get an extensive run, but Ivanovic has been great (in general, a bit suspect defensively though here and there) this season. Can't drop Branislav.
  9. Lampard, Ballack and Essien in their primes were all also a Ballon D'or type of players... All three were real superstars as well. I love Yaya but you're overrating him if you think he was a lot better than the former mentioned.
  10. I actually agree. Love Oxlade and think he's being underused at Arsenal, very underrated due to injuries and irregular playing time. I think he'd be fantastic on the right here.
  11. Behave. Guessing you didn't watch football when the likes of Ballack, Essien and Lampard (in their primes of course) played here.
  12. Whatever happens with Ryan would be good for us tbh, but we don't need him, he should leave for his own good. Good thing is that he'll fetch us £10m when he does leave, which is good enough for me. Always said that he'll be a solid left back, he's done very well.
  13. I'll say it again, best CDM in the world, quite comfortably as well.
  14. Koscielny is one level up from Cahill I think. A lot more comfortable on the ball and a lot more proactive too. Faster as well.
  15. If we wanted to we could afford to have 1 or 2 players on 200k. We've slashed our wage bills massively so there's definitely space. We aren't as far behind United, Real and Barca as you're trying to make it seem. Just because the club are being smart with contracts and transfers doesn't mean we don't have the capacity to offer Reus £200k+.
  16. We're not struggling with FFP at all, especially after the excellent business we did this summer.
  17. It would be absolute hell on earth if we lost to these lot.
  18. All fresh and ready to go for Liverpool. Expecting him to do a job on SG.
  19. Muller or Reus would be an absolute dream on that right hand side (especially the latter). We must do everything in our power to try and get Reus this summer, hopefully Mourinho and the board are looking into it.
  20. Haha, I remember when we first signed him and after a few months in I said that he really needs to work on his finishing and the '20 goals in Ligue 1 suggests different' talk came up. Glad people are starting to see that now it is something he has to explicitly work on. 3 main things Eden needs to continue to work on and he'll legitimately move up a level and be universally considered as one of the best players out there (or best in the BPL at least): Finishing Killer instinct Off the ball movementThe latter two are developing along nicely - no longer does Hazard sit around and wait for things to happen, he actually is finally using his ability to force results which is good to see. Off the ball movement has improved as well; even though he still has some work to do. His finishing however has actually seemed to regress. It's weird. He has the technique and everything, he knows how to dispatch a ball into the bottom corner, top corner, volleys etc. but it seems to be a confidence thing/mental block whenever he does seem to get in front of goal. If Eden works on those three points and gets them to a high level (as said before the latter two are definitely evidently improving)... Boy are we in for a treat.
  21. Yeah it's improving. He still has a long way to go though. It's still one of the weakest parts in his game - saying that, before Costa and Fabregas came out link up play was generally too poor in the final third for Hazard to even concentrate on this. Now we've got both however he should definitely improve on it as it'll actually be utilised. We need runners off the ball.
  22. There is a bit of Zouma's pace for anyone that doubted when I said that physically he's the perfect specimen.
