Holidays or no holidays I do wish we have more people here. Does anyone here posts on WAGNH? I'm not happy with quality of discussion there but maybe we can bring some guys from there.

It was very hard for young players to break into our team. Everything changed with Frank's appointment, transfer ban and very low quality of some senior players (Giroud, Michy, Azpi, Barkley, Pedro...) Also injuries of RLC, Rudiger, Christensen played big part in Mount and Tomori getting chances. Is all of this going to change now once we are back in market? We will definitely replace senior players I mentioned with better ones. For example, Michy and Giroud out - Werner in and Barkley out - Isco in. If this happens Abraham and Mount will lose their place. How you guys feel about this? I mean we are not some development squad for young talented players and if we have a chance to buy top quality like Werner we can't miss it just to make Tammy happy. Our goals are always highest and we want to be better than Liverpool and City soon. With buying Chilwell, Werner and Sancho we are right there. So I think it's great we have so many academy players in the squad and they will still get a lot of chances but if for example Abraham wants to keep starting place he has to be better than Werner. Simple as that. No sentiment. But still I'd rather have all these guys even as squad players then horrible players we bought lately like Zappacosta, Drinkwater, Bakayoko, Barkley...

But that's not Mourinho's fault according to Mourinho 😂

Not just based on this but a lot of stuff indicates they will join us. And remember Jorginho's mom and sister? Likes are important!

It's normal when you save a lot of money on transfer fee to give higher salary. Werner alone is worth probably 90m and we'll sign him for 25-30. Barkley for example costed us only 15m because of contract situation but we gave 7m extra to him and his agent.

Wolves play both City and Liverpool in 45 hours. Congrats to idiots who are in charge of schedule

Alonso has to start over Emerson because our chances of winning increase for 66.66% with him in the team
-
I agree. On Whoscored after Willian 9.2 Alonso was our best rated player with 7.8.
-
Yes it is. I have no doubts they will both play for Chelsea very soon. We already know they are Chelsea fans.
-
Played like one minute for us.
-
But this is so funny to me. Stats in the PL : With Alonso starting: Played 6 - won 6. Without him: played 12 - w4 - d2 - l6

First Spurs now Everton... I am jelly...

Someone posted reports a couple of days ago that Bayern and Atletico are favourites for Werner with us. Atletico buying Cavani definitely leaves them out. Bayern is after Mertens I read and they just got super talent young forward in Zirkzee who scored 2 goals in 14 minutes played this season. Maybe Liverpool is after him but we have great chance I think!
-
But who was in this positions? Azpi, Kante, Michy, Mount? Not exactly players I would expect to buried the chances.
-
Ridiculous comments about Conte system. In Conte winning season almost every other manager in the PL copied this system including him!
-
But even if all three become what we want from them why can't we have all of that? The word is that if Pulisic and CHO are top level in the future we don't need Sancho? How can City have Sterling, Sane, B. Silva and Mahrez? Or Real Hazard, Asensio, Bale plus two wonderkids in Vinicius and Rodrygo?? If you think like this basically we can sign both Zaha and Sancho.
-
Yoshida, Bednarek, Stephens, Vestergaard. Not sure about this.

From Blue Moon forum... Not exactly ITK but a friend of mine is best mates with one of the lads in youth recruitment at City, he was involved in bringing Sancho up from Watford etc. He is in contact with Sancho quite a lot and basically the word is that he doesn't want to come back to Manchester. He is targeting a move to Chelsea but he has been hearing they will go for Zaha in January which would stop that move as they already have Hudson-Odoi. Plenty could change of course but just a little snippet of info. I still think Zaha is smoke screen. No way we go for him over Sancho...
-
I just read Sancho thread on Blue Moon forum and didn't see one comment as convinced as you are about Sancho going back to City. No one is expecting that they will even use first refusal clause. After all, Sancho is Chelsea fan just like you and me. What would you do in his position? Plus his best mates are already here. He's from London...

A first refusal transfer clause gives the club who has the benefit of the clause the opportunity to be informed of any deal that the selling club is willing to accept for the transfer of the player. This is different from a buy-back clause because usually with a first refusal clause, the selling club retains the power to decide whether to sell the player or not. Typically, a buy-back clause automatically triggers the transfer of the player should specific contractual conditions be met. In practice, the selling club will not have any way of refusing the buy-back offer if the clause is intended to be an automatic trigger and it is drafted appropriately.

Another Duncan Wright exclusive for The Sun: Norwich and Southampton want Chelsea’s highly-rated young defender Marc Guehi on loan for the rest of the season.

First refusal is different than buy back. If he doesn't want to go there he won't. And how does first refusal exactly work? Club A offers 5m for player X and club B with first refusal use this clause to stop transfer. Then club A offers 6m and club B can't do anything anymore?
