Good news is that I dont think Kepa is the kind of guy who will demend 190k salary elsewhere. He would take a big pay cut to be regular somewhere where he is wanted. Who knows, maybe he broke up with girlfriend because she does not want to live in England? They still have all the photos together on social media which tells a lot. Drinkwater would rather keep his big salary than kick the ball again. That is why he will stay with us for two more years... Lets just get 40-50m for Kepa. If clubs in Spain know it is a mental thing like with Morata they would take him... 50m and Kepa for Oblak?

The problem is Leicester. Without 3 best defenders and best midfielder I cannot see them finishing over Utd. In seasons like this when we dont fight for titles Utd, City and Liverpool failing in Europe and in the league makes season much better. Liverpool:Atletico was one of the highlights for me now we need Utd to finish 5th and City to fail in CL.

But even with this group of players we are capable of having good defensive games. Last 10 games for example: 5 clean sheets. Liverpool, Everton, Leicester, Watford, Norwich. 2 games where we only conceded after set pieces. City and Aston Villa. And three very bad defensive games: West Ham, Palace and SU. One leader and top CB would do wonders for us. This is much more essential than Kepa imo. In this 10 games worst Kepa moments were first West Ham goal after corner and Zaha goal. And for both goals we have at least two players more responsible. Yes, I would replace him with Oblak or Turkish guy but if we have to choose world class CB is much more important.

We are already there with Werner and Ziyech. Buying Havertz and fixing defense will have to make us competitive with Liverpool and City.

If we miss out on Havertz go for Sancho and play Ziyech as AM.

Yes, saw that. I was hoping Swansea will get play off to watch Gallagher but not happening. Nice to see Leeds back in the PL. Brentford can go over WBA... But than again if we are after Benrahma to replace Willian it is better for us if they dont get promotion.

Tbh Michy played just 224 minutes this season in PL. Utd at home only start. After that 18 minutes most in one game.

Our only loss without Kante this season is SU the other day. Alonso started just one of our 11 losses this season (West Ham). Similar with Barkley. Big difference when he is starting. I am speaking only about PL. These three players have bigger differences in percentage of wins than Jorginho. Conclusion Alonso and Barkley are best Chelsea players and Kante worst?

I think wingers playing defense in overrated thing. I mean even the worst wingers in defending cannot cost you more than 2 or 3 goals per season? Willian is knows as best in this and even he cost us sometimes. Example:

Ole barely rotate even in Europa League. Would keep the same CBs for this one. Ok Emerson in, he was not that bad against Leicester. Offensively with 5 subs we can easily change all of them after 60 mins so this resting players debate is ott for me. Especially because Frank have no idea what his starting 11 looks like.
