Look at this from Tuchel's perspective. He just delivered major success. And club now wants to give him back in transfer window. I imagine he said to them that he wants a top striker. So club look around and see Lewandowski, Haaland, Kane, Lukaku... Say what you want about Rom but he is top5 rated strikers in Europe... Do people really think TT cares about things mentioned like no resale value, price etc... Considering history, what are the odds he'll be here in 2 years? So if other top strikers are not available for different reasons I think he'll be perfectly happy with Lukaku because he wants someone who will give him goals. People attack the board and say if we can't get Haaland don't sign anyone but that would actually be major 'fuck you' in Tuchel's face. Tuchel wants top striker now and he don't care about 99% things mentioned on here. It's clubs job to deliver it to him.

Kane to City, Lukaku to Chelsea also means United have clear path to Haaland next summer. There is also Norwegian connection. But considering Haaland situation next summer makes you wonder why Chelsea and City dont wait for him? Why is no one after Mbappe with just one year left on contract? Because everyone knows he wants only Real and will go there next summer. So it could be that clubs become aware what Haaland wants and maybe he already promised himself to United or Real or Barca...

Another good way to score more goals and most logical is to play players who are more likely to score. Werner/Mount last season played over 8000mins combined and scored 17 non penalty goals. Havertz/Ziyech for example less than 4500mins and scored 15 goals. Difference in minutes played is around 3600mins which is exactly 40 games. So if these players continue their ineffectiveness in front of the goal and TT keeps playing them over others he is basically saying: I don't want to score more goals.

Imo we easily have a squad for 85 points without any signing. But I expect City to be around 95. So this is why transfer window is so important now. We need to reach that highest level.

Well, Mount is playing as one of the 3 attackers so he should be compared to Havertz, Werner, Pulisic, Ziyech... He fights for position with them. Even wing backs are more offensive in our system than players in double pivot. If you add defenders on set pieces and Kounde/James bombing forward from RCB role I would say that Kova, Jorginho and Kante are last in the packing order in terms of goals expected.

Lukaku or Haaland they would be number one guy and undroppable just like Kai is going to be. So that is Pulisic, Mount, Ziyech, Werner all fighting for one spot? Plus CHO.

Yeah, Jesus is just not worth it. First of all he plays in environment where every striker should score more goals than somewhere else... And stats do not help him either against Abraham. Last 2 seasons in PL: Jesus: 23 goals in 4085 mins. Abraham: 21 goals in 3255 mins. Tammy is better here. But both not good enough for top teams. Pep rather goes with false 9 than Jesus, tells it all. Next season if they fail to buy Kane he will do it again with KDB, Foden, Gundogan...

Werner was late like 3 seconds with a pass for the goal. Also I never noticed that we suffered defensively because of the wing back changes. Azpi/Chilwell or Puli/CHO or Alonso/James our defence is always granit. And for a team that has 65-70% possession in most games wing backs just have to track back a couple of times per game so it's not a big issue and it's better to have ones who can do damage in attack.

For me, it has way more sense than spending over 100m for the guys like Felix, Dembele even Coutinho. In February before injury he was number one candidate for POTY. And best English player.
